I don't think I'll ever feel that I've
arrived to the point where I won't continue to seek new ways of doing dentistry and providing
newer services. And once that blue light is shined inside your mouth, anything that turns
purple or dark is actually pre-cancerous.
VELscope is a new technology that enables us to diagnose,
or actually see, and catch oral cancer at the earliest state. And so what this does
is it actually emits the light inside your mouth, and it goes 2 or 3 millimeters deeper,
and anything that's deep that hasn't gone up in to the surface yet we can catch
early.
Wow.
I'm always looking for something out there
that will make dentistry just one step higher than the next. That's your blood vessel
that's right there nourishing your TMJ. With new technology we even offer a machine
called the CEREC.
Which it enables us to actually provide a restoration like a crown or an inlay or
a veneer even so that the patients don't have to come back in two weeks. We can actually
provide it in as little as an hour. And here's your crown.
I'm always looking for the next level,
how can I make things better for my patients, and what can I provide that will take the
comfort level and the appearance level and everything else to that next level? We also
have the Wand, which is an electronic anesthesia system, so it's more comfortable to give
anesthesia to our patients.
You don't feel anything because he's so advanced and so aware, and he doesn't
want you to feel any pain.
Today's dentistry does not have to be painful at all. When patients come in and they have
concerns of having had painful experiences in dentistry, I truly believe that they don't
have to experience that in my office. Technology surely improves patient experience in my office.
