So now we're ready to start rethreading this drawstring through the hole. Let me get this
knot out of the end of it, I don't know where that came from. Okay, so I have my safety
pin wrapped around the knot, not through it, and what I'm going to do, I'm just going to
hold it just like this, find the hole, and just push it in. And what we're basically
doing is just running the drawstring, the casing for the drawstring, over the edge of
the safety pin. So as you can see it, my fingers are just pushing on the top of it and just
kind of gathering it, and I'm just going to pull it through and we have it started. And
you just keep doing the same thing over again, and then pull. So hold the end by the safety
pin where the knot is and just push it on. And sometimes the casings are real small,
and that's when you really come into like you don't want to put the safety pin through
the fabric itself because it will rip if it has a lot to pull against. So anyways, I'm
coming up to the middle part, and in the next clip I'm going to show you a couple of things
about this that you might need to know if you're trying to re-drawstring a pair of pants
say, or something like that.
