Washing Your Hair Extensions

Listen this question was "How often should I wash my hair?" Ladies, I cannot tell you how important it is for you to wash your hair. Listen I am not a big fan of all this glue, all this quick weave stuff; anything quick honey it's probably not going to be good for your edges. So I want you to think twice when it comes to all that quick weave and putting all that glue in your hair. The invisible parts I want you to be really considerate because the thing what I found out is that people were not washing their hair for three weeks to a month. Not only is it not healthy and not sanitary, but ladies I promise you this is the quickest way to get alopecia. I was talking to a dermatologist the other day and they said that their seeing more and more balding from younger women, especially African American culture. And I simply understand why we're seeing that more. You see more alopecia among young women, one, is because they're getting their hair braided too tight and they're not washing their hair frequently enough. You need to wash your hair a minimum of twice a month, it'll be great if you could wash it once a week. You'll find out as you stimulate your scalp you get healthy scalp, you get healthy hair, healthy hair gives you healthy edges. And so you can maintain your hair extension and it looks more natural. So when and how often you should wash your hair? Absolutely seven to ten days. You should never go over fourteen days with washing your hair, it's the quickest way that you can cause alopecia. And not only that, but ladies sorry to tell you this but you can actually build up certain bacteria's in your scalp and yeast infections in your scalp and it causes balding. If you're noticing that you're getting scales or a lot of scalps that means you need to wash your hair more often. With me, what I notice is that my skin possibly may break out a little bit more. So it just means that you need to get in there and wash your hair a little bit frequently.
