Beyond the Theme Parks at the Disneyland Resort

Hey! I'm Eddie, and I am a cast member here at The Happiest Place on Earth. Today, I'm here to show you areas of the Disneyland Resort outside of our famous theme parks. With three hotels, as well as shopping, dining and entertainment in the Downtown Disney District, there's more here than you might know about! For starters, there are the three unique hotels here at the Disneyland Resort. A stay here means being right in the middle of the magic -- all literally steps away from everything to do here. Let's take a quick look. First up is Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, capturing the rich history and natural beauty of the state of California. The hotel's luxurious design is inspired by turn-of-the-century Craftsman architecture. Located right in the middle of the Disneyland Resort, this hotel offers a private entrance into Disney California Adventure Park! And there's no better place to relax and unwind than the signature Mandara Spa or the hotel's trio of sparkling pools. There are also many restaurant options here-- whether you dine with Disney characters at Storytellers Café, grab a quick bite at White Water Snacks, or indulge at the award-winning Napa Rose. Or just sit back and relax at one of our many cozy lounges and soak in the atmosphere. Across the way is Disney's Paradise Pier Hotel, reflecting the heyday of the California beachfront.
