HUNDREDS ATTENDED A CEREMONY AT
A LAW-ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS
MONUMENT.

ANNUAL CEREMONY FOR HONORING
THESE FALLEN OFFICERS WHO DIED
ACROSS MIAMI-DADE. THIS IS THE
MEMORIAL THEY ARE JUST TURNING
THERE IS USUALLY A FLAME THAT IS
LIT WHERE THE NAMES OF THE
OFFICERS ARE ETCHED. IT'S A
BEAUTIFUL MEMORIAL PARK
HONORING THESE OFFICERS AFTER
35 YEARS THE STILL DRAWS HUGE
CROWDS AND A LOT OF EMOTION.
HUNDREDS OF LAW ENFORCEMENT
OFFICERS COME TO THIS SYMBOL --
CEREMONY EACH YEAR.
THEY HAD BAGPIPES AND FLAG
PRESENTATION TO LOVED ONES IN
THE RIDERLESS HORSE.
GUEST SPEAKER THIS YEAR WAS ONE
PRESS.
THE REASON THAT WE ARE HERE
IS FOR THE FAMILY MEMBERS AND
FOR THE NAMES ON THAT WALL.
WE WILL NEVER FORGET THEM.
