I was on this aircraft A320 for Frontier Airlines which is first time for me to go in airlines and love it!! I was visiting friend of mine and so sad to leave my former hometown to go back to Phoenix, Arizona, So anyways, I was sitting on row 21F near back of the airplane.
Do you seen the wings have flaps were open and down?? Its help to lift airplane into sky during takeoff.
See this? On each ends of the wings are moving up and down called Ailerons, to help to go left and right. Pilots are doing some checking to see ailerons are working before takeoff, that's normal procedures.
The plane that we move up is United Airlines Old Colors Boeing 757-200.
The plane are in front of United Airlines is NorthWest Airlines Boeing 757-200, It was merged with Delta Airlines.
LaGuardia Tower are suppose to give clearance to NWA (NorthWest Airlines) Boeing 757 to line up and wait at RWY 31, but look like Tower gave us to go for RWY 31, No hard feelings! LOL!
Takeoff!!
Gear Up! (Wheel Up)
On your right, See this island? This is Riker's Island for Prisons.
This is The Bronx Boroughs (One Part of Five Boroughs)
The Flaps are retracts and aircraft are increasing speed to 250kts (knots) such as little more than around 270 mph!
Now we are above north of manhattan island.
Now we are above North New Jersey.
Frontier Airlines A320 are continue climbing until either 34,000 or 36,000 feet.
