Now what I want to talk about is "flicking" the ball over an oncoming defender. Now, a
lot of times you have the ball, and you'll see that defenders will sprint at you, fast.
So, if you flick it behind them they're completely on their heels and you can just run right
around them. Now a flick, this is an advanced move. Basically what you're doing is you're
scooping the ball on top of your foot, and in the same motion, you're flicking it over
your opponent's head. Now, when you're flicking the ball, it's resting on the surface of your
foot, and then you bring your foot up, and you flick your ankle, and that's where the
trajectory comes from. So it's two steps, lifting it, flicking it. So here's what it
looks like with an oncoming defender.
