Most moms, or a lot of moms need to bring in an income they need to be taking care of their children, and along with the father but there is even more weight on the mom. They WANT to be there for their kids but they also need to earn an income. And Melaleuca is like the perfect fit for that because they can do both of them at the same time and be successful at both. How has Melaleuca helped families? You know, we on a daily basis see a lot of families that...both parents are working and I think a lot of times they don't think there's any other option. and so bringing them Melaleuca and showing them that it really is possible to be home with their kids is very rewarding They see the difference. How does Melaleuca help moms? When I present Melaleuca to moms, absolutely the products make sense They absolutely want better safer products for their home. But what happens is we've approached them about the products and then share with them the business They never really dreamed that they could stay home with their kids and really create substantial income And so the combination of both really interests moms. What is your debt-free date? I want to be debt-free SO bad I can taste it. We have a deb-free date of 2017 because we want to be mortgage debt-free, you know...cars, everything - absolutely debt free... and I think we'll hit it before 2017 but that's our debt-free date. Do you want to change your life? Do you want to change your life? It's completely up to you. I mean, it's up to you - it takes a DECISION and a lot of work. hard work, and a little bit of sacrifice. But you can have that same feeling. You can do the same thing for your family that I've done. It really is just a choice. And I've definitely made that choice for a lifetime. Enhancing the lives of moms, dads and families by helping them reach their goals Jessica: Well when we found Melaleuca five years ago, I think we had a pretty good life. I was a kindergarten teacher. My husband owned a business in the golf industry. And you know, we were doing just fine. But we found out we were expecting. And I just knew I wanted to be a stay-at-home mom. I didn't know how I was going to do that though because Lonnie and I's combined income at the time was less than $50,000 And we were doing OK on that but we were living pay check to pay check. So for me to come home and be a stay-at-home mom there was no way unless I found something that I could do from home that I could replace my teaching income and I started very slow with Melaleuca. In fact, my first year we only made about $8,000 ... but in the second year with Melaleuca which was really my first full year, I had replaced my teaching income. I made $36,000. That's exactly what I was making as a teacher. The third year I made about $80,000, which was incredible because double my teaching income And then my fourth year I made about $90,000 And then this year I'll make well over $100,000. It's allowed us to pay off all of our debt. We're completely debt-free other than our mortgage. We have a great income. I'm a stay-at-home mom - it's incredible. And I LOVE the fact that we get to help others ...do the same thing and achieve the same thing that we've been able to achieve.
