Hello, Ashley Young, PGA Professional here at GlobalGolf.com.
Today we're really eager to show you a great looking new iron by Nike,
the VR-S forged iron.
Most forged irons aren't going to feature a tremendous amount technology, but the
VR-S does, and it does so without compromising the look of what a
player's club should look like.
Let's take a closer look.
First of all, the VR-S iron *looks* like a forged iron should look--
clean lines, not a lot of offset,
and a beautiful finish.
Looking at the back of the VR-S shows the cavity-back, perimeter-weighted design that
incorporates Nike's PowerBow design.
By positioning weight off the face with this deep pocket construction, PowerBow
technology will produce a faster, higher launch.
The face of the VR-S features Nike's thinnest face--the 8655
steel face will give you an instant feedback and promote faster balls speeds.
The X3X grooves will give you a consistent spin throughout any playing
condition.
If you're single digit handicap seeking a great looking iron that has
forgiveness,
or you're just on the brink of being a single digit handicap and want an iron that
will help you become that better player that you aspire to be,
look no farther than the VR-S by Nike.
