Hitler finds out the Start menu will be removed from Windows 8

Apple broke a new sales record. They had over 200,000 pre-orders for the new iPhone in the first 12 hours. They managed to block the sales of Samsung tablets in Germany. And our Windows Phone has only 5% market share. When Windows 8 will have all the Windows 7 features, ARM support and Metro Apps, everything will be alright. Mein Führer... Windows 8... Windows 8 doesn't have a Start menu. We decided it's no longer valuable. The following stay here: Chaitanya, Sinofsky, Simons and Steinglass. Keeping all Windows 7 features was an order! That includes the Start menu! How dare you remove it? Our users liked it! What's next, remove Windows Explorer? The user experience team lied to me, everybody lied to me. Even Ballmer! The program managers are no more than a bunch of disloyal cowards! But we kept the taskbar, it should be enough! Just the taskbar? You can't search programs with that! But you can search from the Metro Start Screen! Start Screen? But we agreed to have it only for Metro! Not for the Desktop! You call yourself UX specialists... ...but I can't even use it properly with a keyboard and mouse. Now, we might sell a few Windows tablets. But only if we're lucky and either Amazon Fire fails, or Apple doesn't release a good iPad next spring. I should have ... ...took all the design decisions myself. Like Jobs did. We were not able to slow Apple. But at least we owned the PC market, and the enterprise. Traitors. Now we could lose our most loyal users. And for what? To sell some damn tablets? But all these traitors will pay. No more bonuses and stock options. And let them use Windows 8 without a touch screen! Calm, Gerda. We still have Windows 7. All my orders have been ignored. How can we fight Apple and Google under these circumstances? It's over. The war is lost. But if you think this means I'll use Windows 8 on my desktop... ...you're wrong. I'd rather shoot a bullet through my head. Do what you want.
