Implementation Of Gescor ® In the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Council Of Ministers

SECRETARIAT-GENERAL OF THE PRESIDENCY OF THE COUNCIL OF MINISTERS Complete, safe and indispensable. Gescor was the chosen solution regarding a consultation made to entities registered in the former Government Purchase Central. We decided to dematerialize. The Secretariat-General made the decision in 2004. The service quality provided to government members and to Presidency of the Council of Ministers' entities was on the line. Meanwhile, we have been given goals regarding this subject. The solution provided a radical change in the workflows, provided procedure normalization, autonomy regarding different tasks and the archive uniformization. Over these years, these were the main benefits that we managed to identify. Task's suppression, for instance, document transportation and documents archive tasks, complementar to other documents were eliminated because we have everything stored. The administrative support to find documents was also eliminated. There is an enourmous autonomy regarding individual search of the necessary documents and there is an efficiency pattern radically different. Nowdays we have Gescor's fourth version.
