What about to mix a tasteful cocktail?
We can use Shimano XTR group,
top products from Fox, Hope brakes,
and also wheels Tune 24.
Does it need anything else?
What about a really stiff and durable carbon frame, with a DW-Link suspenion?
And the result... IBIS Mojo HD!
12,5 kilo of weight (27,5 punds)
and 160 millimeters (6,3") of an incredible active suspension!
Which is moreover highly effective!
And it does work, especially when you really need it working.
Is it just a perfection itself?
"It's like a feather..."
This bike is hard to judge.
For me it is one big stupefying cocktail.
Cocktail, which charged me up!
I just fell in love with the DW-Link susspension.
And if it won't be so expensive, I would go to buy one the first thing tomorrow morning.
Or does this Californian miracle even have some mistakes?
One thing I really don't like is for example this terrible tiny bar from Tune...
At first you are scared to even touch it because it looks so fragile...
And second thing...
It's got its own purpose, that you can turn and set up the bar in one specific position,
but if you don't know it or you just don't find the right position for the first time...
You can finish with the lever like this -- directing somewhere to the hell!
And then you have to do the whole process once more again and again...
And why? Because you can save several grams of the weight!
In my opinion, the standard lever from Fox works much more better than this tiny bar...
And this horrible thing might be even in the rear, where is now the standard RockShox Maxle lever.
Time to time a fell that this bike might be a little more stable in cornering.
For instance, we rode it in the bikepark, out of the DH line, of course.
And there I would be more happy for a bit more stability of handling.
But on the other hand you can also use this bike with bigger and longer travel fork,
like Fox 36 or RockShox Totem, etc.
And then the bike switches to another level.
Than you can use it for the competitions like Megavalanche and other crazy races like this.
And this bike will handle it without any compromises.
And pebople do the thing like this, and Brian Lopes ride this bike really hard
and it's still working well!
STOP! That's enough!
The true true is, that most of us doesn't have as expensive bike, as a price of this Ibis frame is!
