Hi. I'm Debra Rubin-Roberts, and I'm the founder of Mommy Makeup. Right
now, we're going to do one of our new holiday looks, the look I call the
Chocolate Sizzle look. Chocolate Sizzle is our new stay-put gel eyeliner
shade. It's a milk chocolate with flecks of gold and golden shimmer,
perfect for the holidays.
I love to pair this product with our Any Wear Creme in Goldilocks, and I'm
going to put the look on me right now. Currently I have on our Mommy's
Little Helper Concealer and Mineral Dual powder already. So now it's just
about the color.
I'm going to take the Any Wear Creme in Goldilocks. You can apply this on
your lid, on your cheeks, and on your lips. You could either use your
finger, or you could use the Super Chisel Deluxe Fluff Brush. I'm going to
do both so you can see the difference.
So if I took my finger, I put it in the Goldilocks, and I just sweep it
across my lower lid. Now if you do it with your finger, you'll have a
sheerer consistency look on the Goldilocks than if you do it with the
brush. So here's the look with the finger.
Here's our Super Chisel Deluxe Fluff Brush. I place it in the Goldilocks,
and I'll do this other eye with the brush, and you'll see it applies it
with a more opaque finish.
Brush, finger, let's even me out though, put a little more on. I find
sometimes I like to put the Goldilocks on my lid with my finger for the day
and with the brush at night.
Now we're going to take our Chocolate Sizzle Stay Put Gel Eyeliner with our
Taklon Pointed Definer Brush, and we will go over correct application
techniques right now, again, too.
So I have my chin up and I'm looking down into my mirror. I can see my eyes
right here in the mirror. I hold my brush the way I hold a pencil. I put my
pinky on my face, and I make itty-bitty dashes, and I connect the dashes to
form a line. I love this Chocolate Sizzle Gel Eyeliner. I flip my hand
over, my pinky is on my face, and I make itty-bitty dashes, and I connect
the dashes to form a line.
I'm going to build it up a little bit in my outer corner, because I like
that look. It kind of lifts your eye in the end. There you go.
Now, we'll go back to the Goldilocks, and I'm going to use this on my
cheeks as well. Smile, little dot, rub it back.
I've been wearing this look a lot, even during the day. I guess I'm getting
in a festive mood for the holidays, and I've gotten so many compliments
it's become almost like my go-to look lately. Really love this. Now, I'll
put some on my lips. I like to just use my finger and dab the Goldilocks on
my lips.
Now, sometimes, because the Any Wear Creme is waterproof, budge-proof,
crease-proof, and smudge-proof, it can get a little drying on the lips. So
I like to put Mommy's Kisses on top of it. I'm going to use our newer
color, Riley, a favorite of mine, since it is named after my youngest
daughter.
Here's my lipliner hidden in the handle, and I'm going to make itty-bitty
dashes, not a line, connect the dashes to form my lip line. Itty-bitty
dashes, and see the lipliner color in the Riley really blends right in with
the Goldilocks. Itty-bitty dashes, and I'm going to swivel it down. Put it
in the handle.
Here is Riley. Riley is like a nude peach with shimmer and gold. I'm
putting it on top of Goldilocks. There you go.
Now, you could stop here and say, "Okay, I have my Chocolate Sizzle look
and I'm done." But like I said earlier, this has become my go-to look
because I have gotten so many compliments every time I wear it.
So if I wanted to go from office to party or daytime to evening, just
simply add our Mineral Shimmer Powder in Peachy Keen to this look to dress
it up a little bit. I'll show you how to do that right now.
With the Chisel Super Deluxe Fluff Brush again, take this really pale, pale
peach and put it right under your eyebrow. Put a little dot in the center
of your lid. Do the other side, right under the eyebrow, and a dot in the
center of the lid. I can take the Chisel Double Shader with that kind of
cone-shaped top and take this brighter peach, here, and swish a little in
my outer corner. It kind of instantly brightens the whole eye, but still
keeps this Chocolate Sizzle look. It's very smoulder-y and glisten-y and
chocolatey, and I think that's why people like it so much.
Then, I'll take that same color with the Chisel Angle Blush Brush and add a
little more color on the cheek.
Then, with the Little Lush Kabuki Brush, swirl them all together and give a
glisten-y glow all over the face. This will really dress it up and take it
right into evening, but still keep it soft and natural.
There you go. Here is our Chocolate Sizzle holiday look for 2012.
