Katelyn: This is Migration. Migration is a great way to get people from the community
as well as students to come in and build their own clay bird and place it among the rest
of the clay birds and so in itself it will be an exhibition that everyone is participating in.
So it's a great way to get people involved with the space, involved with the community
It's going to be here on Culture Days weekend.
Ashley Watson: It's about space-making, people meeting each other and kind of
expressing their creativity and hopefully that leads to connections that they
make in here or outside the campus.
Katelyn: I think that it goes right along with the ecology of the area. I mean we're right by
the lake. My favourite part is just being able to interact with the people who
are actually building. I kind of check up on them and see what they're up to.
Some of the birds are just awesome and they put a lot of work in.
I think the best part about it though would be the people that stay for a decent amount
of time and put a lot of work into the birds so that's really nice to see.
