"South Auckland, Our Kids" is a Facebook group page
where people can give away unused items, clothing for children
or even parenting advice.
Pere Wihongi was lucky enough to talk to one of the administrators.
Although it's just a page,
its value is boundless.
This Tainui descendant utilised Facebook
for the benefit of her community.
This page was created as a forum for parenting advice,
and donating goods to families in need.
Kataraina has seven children
and understand the hardship and struggle.
This page simply eased that struggle for her.
One's junk is a treasure to another.
And this is only the beginning.
