Sky Ferreira on Riding Miley Cyrus's Hotdog - Exclusive interview

It's silly, you know, and she's really silly, and I think that's cool. I think what's really good about the show is that people leave knowing how well she sings. Sky Ferreira is the new girl on the music scene and is currently the opening act for Miley Cyrus on her Bangerz World Tour. She's really fun. I mean. It's funny because we're just like friends, so I see the show but it's kind of like she is what she is. I've seen the show so many times, like all I want to do is ride down that slide. When can I...? She's like you can ride down the slide, but I can't because my leg right now. But as can be expected on a Miley tour, it hasn't been without its drama. Sky recently took a tumble on stage and ended up with a pretty impressive injury. Yeah, it was really nasty. -What happened? -To say the least. Um, it was a prop shaft and I didn't know it was down, and I was running across to make my cue and I fell into a seven foot hole and climbed out of it. And I was bleeding, and I was like oh whatever. It's just a cut and like my head was ringing. It wasn't because I thought I was gushing out blood, like my bone was out and stuff. I just thought I was just winded from falling and from eating it, you know. No well, I did my entire set and I was like oh whatever. It's just some blood. No one else notices. There's too much fog and like lasers and stuff. I was like on the ground, like really into it, all this stuff, and then like... There's one point where I'm on the ground, and I looked down on the floor and there's just like this stream of blood. Well, if you're going to get injured. You've got to get injured like that right? Yeah, you really just have got to go for it, I guess. But anyways, I get off stage and I'm like oh yeah, I fell hahaha. And they're like oh my God, you fell? One of my managers is like... And I'm like what? He's like... I was like... He's like I think you need to go to the emergency room, and I was like it's just a cut. it's not a big deal. I'm just like bleeding. I'll be fine. So you talked about Miley's tour and you want to go down the slide. Have you riden the hotdog? No, I've had that conversation too. I was like when can we do it? She's like anytime. I still can't do that yet. I don't know how she does it. She goes high though in like person, it's really, really high. Sky's debut album Night Time My Time is out in the UK.
