Panels - Social panel / linking accounts - 2013 smart hub

The new Samsung Smart Hub consists of five unique panels each offering loads of smart features and content. The Social Panel is a great way to browse all of your favorite social networking information in one place. See your friends' activity and view their comments and likes all on your Samsung Smart TV. Please note, to begin using the Social Panel first be sure you are logged in to Smart Hub with your Samsung Account. Press the Menu button on your remote. Scroll down and select "Smart Features" and then scroll to "Social Settings". To begin linking your social accounts, choose "Link service accounts". Select the account you want to link - in this example, a Facebook account and then choose "Register". Now enter in your Facebook ID and password, then select "OK". When prompted that your Facebook account is linked, select "OK". Follow these steps and link any other social networking accounts that you use and enjoy. When you've finished, select "Close". Then hit "Close" once more. Now press the Smart Hub button on your Smart Touch Control. Scroll up to the panel's options, and then scroll over to the Social Panel. The large box in the upper portion of your screen will show various social updates, depending on the accounts you've linked. You can see your social circle's latest video tweets their favorite YouTube videos, and video Facebook posts. Select any update to see the post fullscreen and view related social media. There's even an option to enter in your Skype account information so that you can use the TV's built-in camera to make video calls. You'll see your recent calls clearly listed after you've signed into Skype. At the bottom of your screen, there are even more social options. Friends' Picks displays your social circle's most-liked videos. What's Hot will show you what's currently trending in your social universe. Friends will show you everyone you're connected to through your linked accounts. And the Video Call option will automatically show you which of your friends are available to you via Skype. Use the Social Panel on your Samsung Smart TV to keep connected and share your favorite videos with all of your friends and family.
