Welcome to Magic Arcanum. I'm Ryan Gomez. I'm so glad you're here because I have a great question for you! What is the most powerful saga? It's not History of Benalia. It's not The Mending of Dominaria. It's not even The Eldest Reborn, even though that's my favorite. No. The most powerful saga is yours! Your Magic story! And I want to hear it, so leave it in the comments down below. You see, I started magic Arcanum to share stories. I was doing weekly recaps of the lore because that's what I'm passionate about. That's MY story. I've been playing Magic for 20 years. I follow the characters and I care about the worlds that the game takes place on. So I was working on an episode about sagas, the enchantments from Dominaria that tell the major stories of Magic's history and that's when it hit me - the most interesting stories, the most powerful sagas, belong to you, the players! So I want to hear them. I want to hear your saga. I want to know if you're working on a sweet commander deck. I want to hear about you teaching your friends and family how to play this awesome game. I want to read about your first experience at FNM. And if you don't know what FNM is yet, that's okay too! I have been teaching Magic for almost as long as I've been playing and while Magic Arcanum will still cover the official lore from time to time, I'm gonna use it to talk with you - to help you - with anything! I want to hear your stories, your questions, your feedback, all of it! Because we can make our sagas anything we want to be, so why not make them as powerful as we can? Maybe you've just entered the battlefield and you're on your first verse and you're trying to figure out where to go next, or maybe you've been playing for a while and you're further along and you want to show off this cool new deck that you brewed up all on your own: it doesn't matter if you've been playing Magic for 20 years or 20 minutes. Everyone has their own personal Magic story. They're all special. They're all cool. They're all worth hearing about, because they are what makes Magic, magic.
