I was saying : ' You have to be the Cow that jumped over the Moon. '
Sometime I say this thing .
' You have to be the Cow that jumped over the Moon . '
and some people say ' Cows don't jump over the Moon ! '
I say ' Okay, you won't be one of them ' [some people laugh]
What it means ' Jump over the Moon ' ?
We are the pure Being .
But while we have the conviction that we are only something personal
and we're experiencing Life as like a personal series of crises or adventures or whatever it is,
than we are so caught up with the smallness of that identity
there is no time left over to look into bigger things .
And one problem seem to be big and leading to another problem, to another problem .
All of them is happening because we are still somehow dwelling in this mind pool
and not in the ocean of Being .
... Ocean of Being .
When you realize that all this that we have talking about, this person, this, and ' I have this problem ' so'n so'n so
that all of it is created by the mind of consciousness .
And that You are the witness of it .
And these things we can proof Now, we don't have to go and do some research nor send you to the Himalayas .
Right here you can See .
Because the knowledge I am speaking of is immediate, it's not hidden in some inpsychopedia .
It is right in the inpsychopedia of your own Self .
To say all the things you talk about 'My senses, 'My life is like this' and 'I went to school in that place'
and 'My parents were not good' ; all of this are stories in the memory .
And something is aware of these stories .
And that, which is aware of the stories is that also in the bubble of the stories, or not ?
No, it's something outside . What is it ?
Put your attention on that for a moment .
And see if it is something tangible . Can you take a photograph of it ?
And experience your finding .
Perhaps for some people is this enough . It's like everything opens up .
Or some seed inside sprout . That continues to grow, to mature,
to get more and more refined . And you begin to live a life in such panoramic openness
rather than this little Village Idiot, that the Ego makes us in to .
And you begin to move somehow with the greatness of the Being that dwells in this body .
That you found real self-respect, and the respect for other beings .
And your life is infused with peace
and Joy
and Space
and Silence .
But you're not doing these things, ' I'm being silent '. Nobody can be silent .
Nobody can >Be< silent .
We can only Be Silence .
You can not be silent .
As long this is an idea of somebody doing it ... You can not do it .
Because Doing is from the mind, and the mind is not consistent .
When you realize that silence is synonymous with your being
than who is doing it ? Nobody .
Understanding opens the window . Pulls the curtains open .
There is peace, but nobody is being peaceful .
If you watch someone trying to be peaceful ...
You know it doesn't work , it's not the truth .
It's just somebody pretending to be peaceful .
The one who is truly peaceful ... they could be shouting from top of a tree
and still what you feel is peace .
Another one is sitting like this ...
and anybody throws potatoes at you . [laughter]
Because something inside is not true .
The discovery of the self is not doing, it is a discovering .
An openness . You see ...
When you begin to see this, I say : ' Yes, you jumped over the Moon '
