Hi, I'm Chris Murray and I'm going to tell you how to pass around defenders. Often times
in soccer there's not a clear pass between you and your other teammates. By being able
to bend the ball around the defenders, is very good in order to get the ball to your
other teammates. In order for you to bend the ball, you must use the inside or the outside
of your foot. Unlike a regular pass where you use your instep to pass the ball, this
time you would have to use the inside of your foot and hit it on the outside of the ball.
By using the inside of your foot, will allow you to get a certain spin on the ball, which
will get it around the defender. In order for you to use the inside of your foot, your
plant foot has to be right next to the ball, and you have to hit the outside of the ball.
So with your plant foot there, you swing with your kicking foot around the ball, making
it have that spin to make it bend around defenders. Another way to pass a ball around defenders
is use the outside of your foot. This time your plant foot should be a little further
apart from the ball, and it should strike around the inside of the ball using the outside
of your foot, creating that spin for it to bend around defenders. And that's just how
you pass a ball around defenders.
