Okay now, if it's going to be a pitcher not only does it need a spout, it needs a handle
as well. And I'm going to show you how to do that. The first thing you want to do is
make your lug. This is going to be a blank for the handle itself. You want it to be shaped
a little bit like a carrot. So you're going to take it, you want it to taper a little
bit to start. That's going to make it easier when you get to the actual pulling. But it's
good to just kind of *** it into about the width that you want the actual handle to be.
Because you don't want to have to pull too much clay out. And make sure when you're banging
it that you're keeping that taper. And you can also kind of squish it to get that shape
that you're looking for. Now very important, you want to take the end and give it an upward
angle. That's very important. And now we're ready to attach it and pull it.
