My name is Abby Jones and I'm talking about the process of moving into a new space and
how to organize that space efficiently and functionally and easily and aesthetically.
And right now I'm in the kitchen. I'm talking about how to organize your kitchen and things
that you want to think about as you're organizing your kitchen. And specifically talking about
miscellaneous utensils. I've chosen to put my miscellaneous utensils in this drawer which
is one of the two drawers that I actually have in my kitchen and the next one is right
next door, I guess, so to speak. But I put my every day utensils in there, the ones that
I'm using all the time and then I'm putting my other miscellaneous utensils in this drawer.
I have several different little containers that I'm keeping stuff in, grouping them basically
by usage, so I'm keeping my measuring cups in one, one little thing. Some parts to my
juicer back here in one little area, one little container, some utensils that I use on a fairly
regular basis, my garlic press and my peeler and these tongs and then things that I don't
use as much at all like can opener and these cute little things that my mom gave me. Don't
tell her I don't use them that much. So that's a good way to organize your miscellaneous
utensils is by usage and to separate the drawer or wherever you choose to keep them based
on what kind of utensil they are.
