Lately I've been waking up, not feeling in my mind
Like I'm healing the blind
It's like I'm less than sublime
Moving out of my prime like some middle-aged ***
Pissed because his castle is a hole in the ground
So he's barking like a hound who's been thrown in the pound
See, I'm getting too down
But this *** makes me crazy like,
"Where's my slice of the cake?"
Every time I get mine it seems so rugged and fake
I keep trying to save myself but it feels too late
So I go for the wealth like that *** isn't bait,
But you know
I know better
That's why I'm feeling this hate
Anyone for revolution?
I'm not trying to wait
Because I know of our fates
Predicted by the Great Ones
Of forces irate
Better than to make fun, I look for the dates.
It's like his *** goes on forever; it's the game that we play.
It seems agreements that we make are creating today
And so they lock us down inside and tell us what to say.
We believe like some sheep and so we pave the way
Until humanity's enslaved.
And we won't be saved,
That's just part of their story.
Honestly, this nonsense be starting to bore me
So I'm looking at the weapons that are splayed out before me
And ideas are forming.
The government's a bunch of ***, they wanna loot and *** me
They're killing kids and loving it through police and army
And corporations desecrating culture and farming
So how can you not see the truth? It's *** alarming
Your *** will just sit back until you drown of lethargy
The petty stones and words we throw do little to harm these
Everything we're working towards is pointless malarkey
The future of this *** race is blind and a scarred thing
The skies above and things we love are slowly departing
This nation goes to waste, just a song that a bard sings
The elevated souls are the ones without holes
Realigning to the skies and realizing their goals
It's so crazy how
The pace of many nations has us killing the ground
It's all over now.
We were racing with a pace that is more than allowed
Now we wanna lay down, acting lazy and proud
We see it all around yet we don't make a sound
Severing connections to the oneness abound
They try to segregate us
Feeding us the "hate" fuss that's morbid and tasteless
We're locked in a stasis
And no one will save us
There's no plan to sustain, man
They're coming to *** us
It's not what you think
They're not your only link to a spot where you're safe
Where you're not gonna sink
I really hope you're okay
When It's lost past the brink
And there dawns a day when we can truly say that
It's never coming back...
I'm never coming back to a country that attacks
Hungry, desperate saps
That have come to their door mats
Begging for floor scraps
A place to rest sore backs
A promise of baths
And a future to work at
I must have been mistaken
Thinking that this nation was an ethical haven
It's really a place where the statesmen turn face
And the herd won't stop racing til the end of their days
For a piece of a cake that is rotten and fake
Made of less than nothing so the hunger won't sate
Capital is capillary, never abating
You can't buy your way in to the pearly gates
Keep trying and the sin will turn your *** to hate
When needy turns to greedy, you won't be filling the slate
You're not hearing what is healing so just can't relate
And you likely won't try cuz' it's too *** late man
You've sealed your fate
