I'm Cindy Vova and I'm with the Law Offices of Cindy S. Vova PA, located in Plantation, Florida. I've been practicing law almost twenty eight years. I went to Emory University Law School in Atlanta, returned home to South Florida where I was born and raised, I'm a native - back to my roots and I've practiced law in South Florida that entire period of time. Our firm concentrates in family law and that ranges from anything from a prenuptial agreement through a divorce, or dissolution of marriage, to issues that come up after divorce, also paternity, adoption - and I'm a Supreme Court Certified Family Law Mediator and Circuit Civil Mediator - so we do that area of law as well. One of the most important things that our firm offers to clients is the ability to be there for them. You hope when you hire an attorney that they know the law, we keep up to date on that, so that's not an issue. But, we also know our clients and the people that we deal with. We take a holistic approach to the practice of law. In other words, the whole person is involved - it's not just doing the case cut and dry, we understand that during a divorce or any family law matter we have good people going through bad times, and our goal is to be there for them, not only legally, but supportively and also be able to provide to them other resources to go to if they need additional help. When you initially contact an attorney for a family law matter you want to know that you can speak with that person. So, if you call our offices, you will speak not only with whoever answers the phone, but you'll get to speak with either myself or my associate at that time. You want to develop a rapport with that person, understand that they know what they're talking about in the law - and you'll get that sense, and also not an attorney that promises you what you want to hear, because, when you hear that, you're not going to get everything that you're promised. We take a candid approach to your case, and we're not going to tell you what you want to hear just to have you become our client - we're going to tell you what our assessment of the case is but help you and support you all through the process.
