on that and they all want to cut all funding to the national endowment for the arts okay sold at claiming that look it's wasteful spending we could save a lot of money by cutting funding for this uh... but one thing they don't keep in mind is that the arts employees about uh... five point seven million people u_k_ so cutting funding for that would be a disaster when it comes to employment and it's also again it's a itgi it just it's throwing red meat to your base first of all funding of the arts is valuable because it's important that kids and that money is spent there's ballyhoo in training and teaching the arts that said i don't really care but wish that we would unfunded ourselves and take it away from them as an issue that we can raise enough money to fund it privately differently because it's a small percentage of the amount of money and it's a kind of i'd feel like a public relations disaster every year it's a small it's not a significant percentage of n_p_r_'s funding to and it's always the first thing the conservatives want to do every years defund national public radio and tv s and they'll claim that its cuz its all this liberal program it isn't significant car talk for grand island all things considered in the morning edition it's not love by the way my father was president national public radio proprietors show earlier we don't show yet um... memorial asian started under his watch but it is a mass it's always a strikes me as a political loss i don't really want to see unfunded but it is a difficult political conversation every year relief when she found out that uh... lapierre was not hispanic frightened and she referred to him as a green go savannah group of conservative uh... who republicans i think and conservative blacks actually day set you know what of the believed the word *** offensive we gotta cut findings and p_r_ because she is the word regardless use the word window yet two-percent by the way that's a much federal funding goes down here solicit it it really is two percent mhm would be great npr just if there was just drop it mhm rebellious it doesn't become public radio again is something about public radio it's not for profit radio i don't i don't know all the particulars of it i i don't know what the valuation remaining public radio with that two percent of federal funding but i'd love to take
