Why I'm Losing My Hair

everybody welcome back to my channel so today's video is a little bit more of a serious one it's not reviewing a product or anything it's I'm losing my hair and the reason why so if you'd like to see miss any so last Sunday I did a little unboxing I had my hair all wrapped up my hair has been like coming out in clumps so this is just from brushing combing my hair after getting out of the shower okay I mean it's probably not showing up but I mean it is a very large chunk it's just coming out in chunks okay this I pulled out okay this is just what came out with that when I was after like yet this was still left in the bathtub this has been going on for almost a month so I haven't been at the doctor yet but I did a little bit of research and there is something called telogen effluvium what it basically is is people will get this it's a type of alopecia people will get this after they've had major surgery February 1st I had gallbladder surgery and it wasn't just the keyhole they had actually do a major incision so basically with telogen effluvium what it is is like your body is kind of gone into a type of shock and everything goes towards that area where you had surgery okay so basically what it is is your hair sheds everyone knows that you lose hair every day and it just naturally sheds well with your body kind of going into a little bit of almost like a shock state trying to fill you you don't go through the stage of losing hair the shedding called telogen and so two or three months after major surgery a lot of people will see very large amounts of hair loss it's very very shocking it's very very worried but it's supposed to slow up after a month or two so I'm hoping I'm gonna be like stopping soon because it is very worrisome I mean you know just just from one day okay just one day of you know washing my hair I've been trying to be a lot more gentle with my hair I got a very wide toothed shower comb and that's all I like comb my hair with now I don't use a brush anymore if you guys have watched my hair tutorials you'll just see me have gone in there with a hairbrush I don't even brush my hair anymore I just use a very wide tooth comb I even am trying to not wash my hair as often I'm trying to be very very gentle with it I was not told about this possibility of very shocking hair loss you know after surgery I my research a lot of people aren't told about it I'm like I'm not having any like bald patches or anything like that but it's setting it's basically it's a type of alopecia that causes thinning it does is supposed to stop if it doesn't stop I am gonna go to the doctor you know I eat pretty okay I mean I probably need to drink more water but I try to try to eat right I walk a lot but I don't know I don't know what's you know it's very very worrisome it's very shocking it's very stressful but guys if you guys don't see me doing such wild and crazy things with my hair for a little bit I just wanted to let you guys know if you have gone through major surgery any type of surgery or whatever it's really stressful time this can be any torque any type of stress it's not just surgery you can go into this this face this you can get this type of alopecia of major thinning honestly I don't remember this happening after Maggie died my daughter but I mean honestly I I don't yeah I even if it was I would not have even noticed or cared so any kind of major shock or stress can cause telogen effluvium so I just wanted to come on here kind of explain what was going on and if you you know I'm trying to like wear my hair looser not do like really tight buns or ponytails just trying to be really really gentle with my hair but if you do go through major stress surgery whatever and if this does start happening to you porcelain see your doctor to rule anything else that's really really important but I don't want anybody to get super super freaked out I was super freaked out so definitely number one go to your doctor if you're losing hair go to your doctor it could be some kind of nutritional thing it could be anything anything kay go to your doctor that's number one okay but at the same time try not to be totally freaked out about it because anything whatever it is if you are extremely stressed stress impacts your body's in a really harmful way stress causes hair loss so something that's going on you're losing some of your hair go to your doctor okay be really gentle with yourself be really gentle with it and try not to be extremely stressed out about it okay hair is hair okay and if it doesn't grow back there's links a lot of people look gorgeous bald okay hair does not make the person okay it really really doesn't I just wanted to come on here and kind of explain what was going on I like to share things
