Muhammad Ali and Mike Tyson on same talk show - P1 (rare)

Arsenio: If you could do anything else, other than boxing, what would it have been? Ali: I started boxing at 12. And I never looked/thought about nothing else. Arsenio: Never wanted to be like a doctor or a singer or anything like that? Arsenio: I mean what you did was fine. Ali: ...being the first black man on the moon. Arsenio: Well see, actually, thats a good goal, coz you can still do that. Arsenio: You look like you're having second thoughts about it Ali: I'm thinking Arsenio: You know, I was talking to Stallone earlier this week and between commercials we had a discussion, he actually watched, Chuck Wepner...and yourself, fighting and decided to create the whole Rocky story. He had this underdog, white boxer, trying to overcome, he had this flambouyant champion who talked a lot, who was a big showman - and he actually went from there and created the whole Rocky thing. Ali: From me? Arsenio: Yeah Ali: They owe me. Arsenio: Yeah, there might be a residual there somewhere. Ali: Get me my lawyer... Arsenio: But you never knew that? Arsenio: I think you were his inspiration. Arsenio: You've been the inspiration of alot of people. I've bought some other people, some other interviewers, who are gonna help me out because you're an inspiration to them too. Fellas...come here for a minute.. Arsenio: Whats wrong?! Arsenio: This one here? Ali: I'm scared of him Arsenio: You're scared of this one? Arsenio: He's a sweetheart Ali: He's a real champion Tyson: Get outta here.. Arsenio: Yeah your a real champion.. Arsenio: Who woulda won, if you fought this man, in your prime? Arsenio: Him? Ali: I was a dancer boxer... Arsenio: Yeah you were a dancer. Ali: I moved and I wasn't that powerful, I was so fast. Ali: But if he hit me.... Ali: That's if he could catch me. Arsenio: What would you say Mike? Tyson: I, by no means, I'm saying, I know I'm great, but can I tell you something. In this situation every head must bow, every tongue must profess, this is the greatest of all time. Ali: He can be modest humble and nice, but this man is great. And I don't know what would happen if he hit me. Tyson: No I don't believe that coz the champ is very modest... I've seen him in the ring with killers I've seen in there with killers like Foreman, Shavers - guys that hit, much harder than I. And you know he takes these guys greatest punches and thats what made him such a champion Even though I heard him say he doesn't believe it, he must believe it, coz that's why... from watching Ali, gave me the great deal of confidence and deep down inner belief, that there was no man...that could beat me. From listening to him all those years since I was a little boy. And he used to, make every prediction come true. And he used to take his character and used it to reflect against his opponents... ..and he made them believe that he was invincible. He was my greatest inspiration, I loved it. Ali: That's real nice of him to say a great compliment. But the man is the great. Arsenio: You think he could hit harder than Ernie Shavers? Ali: Do I think?? Ali: Are you coloured?
