All these ayaats there are many aspects, I
will not discuss the other aspect, you
should not associate any one with Allah.
Then you should be good with your
parents, I have delivered a lecture

you cannot kill the nafs, the soul, the psyche,
except with the truth. So 3 or
4 ayaats I have read to establish this
that no one is allowed to kill except
with the truth. Yourself and the
other fellow, if you have killed
already your self then only you
can kill other person. If I have
not killed my self with the truth
how can I kill other person. That is
very important. You see you can
never ever kill any other person if you
have not killed yourself with the truth.
So we will se how we have to kill our self first.
Now in this ayah you will come to
know how to kill yourself, how to kill,
how to fight and kill, and get
killed. You see the business or
the deal we have in the world
is basically we try our level best
to our own standards to sell
off things and once we have
done and expect the people
to come and buy from that
shop and suppose you sit
there every day trying your
lavel best that some costumers
will come and buy whatever
I am going to sell, they buy,
they don’t buy it. So that means
you have not sell anything. In
this ayah Allah is telling us that
Allah has purchased that he
you want to sell your soul, the
psyche. You have to sell your soul,
the psyche means complete submission
to Allah’s orders the do’s and
the dont’s, the ones I recited
and all the do’s and dont’s as
mentioned in the Quran. Once
you sell the soul, the self, the
resultant, you are left with what,
nothing, except his will, it does
not belong to you. Your eye
becomes his eye, what he says
because it is he owns the property,
you don’t have your own ego then.
Once you have your ego that means
Allah will not purchase you, you
have your standards in the nearness
of Allah. If you are there with all
the beautiful garb you wear it
or all the beautiful personality you
try to make that may be Allah will
like it, no. He has given you the do’s
and the don’ts and specific orders
which you want to sell, and he
will purchase those believers. If
he does not purchase, it means
there is something wrong in you.
So this killing is not easy matter.
Killing you ego or your self the
resultant. So Allah says

surely Allah has purchased from the believers

and their wealth.

In return he will get garden. So
if you want the garden you have
to sell and Allah has to purchase
your soul. When you have sold
yourself then there is no such thing
as you. You are representing him then.
In all your life till you are alive.
That is the concept, the most
important concept to understand
how you kill yourself, how you
will kill. Until Allah purchase you,
you are no more yourself, meaning
you will go whatever Allah will
you are submitting to that all the
time in all aspects. Not in one
or two, all aspects, then only he
purchases you, the believers.
So the question is if you want
the garden that is our final destination,
we want the garden and we have
to sell off so that Allah purchases
us, our souls and our wealth and
if he has not purchased you,
you are not a believer in the
nearness of Allah. We are not
believers in the nearness of Allah.
That means we have to be real
true to ourselves so that Allah
purchase you, your soul, the self.
Once it is being sold out you
don’t exist, you exist, the life is
there, the soul is there, but you
are always submitting to the ayaats
all the time, not once in a time
total submission that means Muslim,
or Momin, total submission is Muslim.
And then he explains how

they fight in the way of Allah. To who,
to whom he is fighting. Self. In
the way of Allah means whatever
Allah is showing us, the direction,
the do’s and the don’ts they are
fighting to achieve that, they are
fighting or you can say jihad in
other word that time the word
jihad is being used or they fight
their own soul. They fight their
own soul self. Another time the
jihad is that you struggle to achieve
Allah’s good pleasure. There is
no other person involved in this ayah.

against their own souls.

They kill their souls. They kill. How they kill?
They kill the wrong doings of their own.
They kill them.

And they are killed.
Physically or psychologically. That is
one life you get in the world.
I am alive. Where is my second
life because we have two lives and
two deaths. I have already read before.
You understand what I am saying.
There are two lives and two deaths.
So when I struggle or I fight in
the way of Allah, the do’s and
the don’ts I follow in its true
aspect and Allah when purchased
me then I will kill and I will get
killed. And once I am killed
in the way of Allah, Allah says
don’t call them dead, they are
alive. Physically alive and psychologically
alive. It is not that you were going
outside and some truck came
on you and you were dead and
you are shaheed or what you
are alive. No, you have to struggle,
you have to fight your self, the
psyche to get the garden, the jannah,
you have to kill, fight in the way
of Allah so that you kill and you
get killed. There are two types of
killing in the world. Nafs, I am
talking about nafs. One person is
killing, you will see the ayaats I
am just explaining you right now.
One person is killing mean he is
killing his soul, the self in the wrong
direction. What Allah says he does
not do. He is killing himself. He is
dead. Any person who is killing
in the wrong direction he is also
killing his soul continuously he is
killing. So one person is killing in
the way of Allah he is becoming alive.
That is the life Allah gives and to
that person Allah says do not call
them dead, they are alive. Because
if you read further

and who can
fulfill with this promise than Allah
then rejoice because you are alive,
Allah has purchased you and you
are alive and rejoice with the deal
you have bargained with him. So
people are taking this verse and killing
other people thinking they are already
alive. They are basically dead. They
are dead in the nearness of Allah.
They are killing on the wrong direction
others because this judgment is laid
down in the Quran for those people
is the deen of Allah, is the judgment
of Allah, you are not God that you
take some body’s life. If you do
so then you have to give Qasas
or other things. This is mentioned
in the Quran you have to kill
your own self psychologically in
the way of Allah in the struggling
in the way of Allah, you fight in
the way of Allah your own self
psyche and you kill your soul
and get killed meaning I had
the wrong concept, I have
fought it, I killed it and I am killed.
Once I kill that concept it does
not re-occur. Remember this once
you kill any thought, if it re-occurs
that means it is not dead. In the
true sense when you have killed
a concept in the nearness of
Allah in the way of Allah, it should
not re-occur. It is dead. Then
you are alive. You can never be
alive if you are in between. If you
say I was gambling now I have
left it. I was involved in drugs,
I have left it. You see and if it
re-occurs that means you did not kill.
That means Allah did not purchase you,
that means you did not strive or
kill in the way of Allah in the true
sense. Once you kill, it is killed
in your psyche, it will not re-occur
because dead people do not
come back from the dead. You
cannot come back from the dead.
Similarly, psychologically killing is
also the same. Once you have killed
the wrong act or once you establish
the right act, you are killing yourself.
And once you have killed yourself,
you are alive. This is how two
lives and two deaths are mentioned
in the Quran. One is the physical life
as I am physically alive but am I
alive in the nearness of Allah, or
I am dead in the nearness of Allah.
If I am killing in the wrong direction
that means I am dead in the nearness
of Allah. I am alive only when I struggle
in the way of Allah and I do not
let it come back I really killed,
I fight and I kill and get killed.
And once my psyche is killed
I am alive. That is the promise on
Allah in the Torah, the law, Injeel –
the good news and Quran – the reading.
This is the law. This is how you
are alive in this world and if you
go to surah
Now what kind of a person is that Allah says

he was dead, who was dead.
Is he coming from the grave, no
the same person alive is dead
in the nearness of Allah. He did
not strive and once he has
strived or he is fighting in the
way of Allah and killing and
getting killed. Then Allah says

we gave him life.

And we made for him light, light of what, the spirit,
the essence of the Quranic ayaats.
How the light comes. The rooh,
the spirit of the essence of Allah’s
ayaats is the light. So it says

and we have made for him light
for him and that light I am telling
you, it is the Quranic ayaat understanding
in it’s essence, not the translation.
It is the spirit, the essence. You
walk with it with the spirit or the
essence and that you can a walk
in light. He walks with people,
is he an example of him who is
in darkness and can never come out,
likewise for the rejector being
decorated what they are doing.
The people who are in darkness, those
do not have the understanding the
essence of the Quranic message.
They are living in darkness. They are dead.
They can be alive only if they fight in
the way of Allah and kill and get killed, their psyche.
Now in this ayah Allah says o you
who believe, give the response or
answer for Allah and for the messenger
when he calls to you

he will give you life, alive, you will be alive if
you follow Allah and his messenger.
If you give response or you
answer back to ayaats, essence
because this is the kalaam of Allah,
the word of Allah and it is the
qaul-e-rasoon-e-kareem, the
messenger’s saying. So if you
respond to it, if you answer back to
Allah and his messenger, he will give,
Allah will give you life, again you
are alive. I am reciting those ayaats
by dying how are you being alive.

And know that that Allah comes
between the man and his heart
and surely you are gathered towards
him. Once you are alive, shaitaan is
there and your soul is also giving
whispers. So Allah says once you are
alive and if something like whispering
of the shaitaan or your own soul
whispers, Allah comes in between. Your
heart Allah comes in between your
heart and the man, the man who
is getting whispers. If I am getting
whispers after being alive by Allah,
after responding to Allah’s messenger, I
am alive in the nearness of God. So
what happens know that that Allah
will come in between, in the surroundings
between his heart because heart is
where the emotions and feelins are
generated. So he will become a
barrier because you know the Allah’s
ayaat essence, he will not let
you do the wrong, it will become
a barrier. It will become in between
the man and his heart and surely
you are gathered towards him.
This is how safeguards once you
are alive in nearness of Allah. He
himself safeguards because he does
not want you to die again. So
when the messenger and Allah calls you,
you respond to them before ayaat
when Allah and his messenger is
calling you, you respond to them
now here it says Allah responded.
Their Lord responded or answered
them, surely I do not waste doers
works from you male or a female.
Have you ever seen females fighting
in wars, killing men. Because if it
is physical qatal the woman will
also qatal, this is order for both.
How many females you see in wars?
If it is the physical killing why
women are not doing this act?
So Allah says male and a female,
so in nafs in psychology so I
do not waste doers work from
you male or female

anyone some of you are from some those who
migrated in belief, they migrated in
belief and drive out from there
circles and got hurt in my way,
in the way of Allah and they fought
and they were being killed. They
fought what? They fought whom?
Their own selves and they were
being killed because they struggled
in the way of Allah. I will cover their
weaknesses. I will cover their means
hurts, weaknesses, ills, and I will
definitely enter them in Garden
where rivers flow beneath, reward
for the nearness of Allah and the
beautiful reward is near Allah. So
both male and a female are killing
themselves they are fighting in the
way of Allah, they are killing themselves
and Allah is benefiting them making
them alive. It is not for only men
physically fighting, it is for both
sexes. So how a male or a female
can attain that psychological warfare,
it is not warfare, psychological
fighting in the way of Allah they
will fight in the way of Allah, they
will kill and kill themselves and
once they are killed Allah said don’t
call them dead they are alive and
further in surah he says
Now in this ayat it is very categorically
clear male or a female who do
correct deeds, the correct, meaning
they came to know the do’s and
the don’ts and once they correct

female, Allah is not making any
distinction between a male and a
female in the works of doings, both
are killing, fighting, killing and getting
killed and they are Momin, believers.

We will give them life, good life,
tayyab, in this world. This is the
second life I am talking about.
One life you are alive, but we are
dead and once you work for Allah
you fight for Allah psychologically
you kill yourself, you do good works,
you become a believer in the
nearness of Allah, whether a male
or a female, Allah says

and that life is good in this world. That is
why we say

O our Lord give us
good in this world and good in
the hereafter. If you are tortured
and wrongly your mind is wrong all
the time, you are fighting against
the will of God you will be in a
miserable life and the fire is for you.
You must have in this world, a
good life in this world, then only
you can get Garden. That is the
law of nature. You have to be alive
in this world and I am telling you
how to be alive in this world. If
Allah will not purchase you, you
will be a sufferer and all the time
will be cribbing and doing malamat,
blaming someone or blaming others
because the nafs is always telling
you bad things, it is always ordering
you to do wrong. Always, so you have
to be very careful. Shaitaan has done his
job, once he has inspired you or
stir you up then he is out. Then
you do it yourself. Then your nafs
becomes like that, the soul, the
self. It operates like that, it orders
you to do bad. So this is the
ayah that you must understand it
is for both sexes, it is not
for male go and fight and kill,
it is for both sexes how to kill
your soul or the self. And it
tells you that you are a believer
and Allah will give you wages
which is good,

what they were doing. Amal means good doers, they
are not killing somebody else, they
are becoming good doers. That is
why Allah made them alive and the
life that was given was tayyab means
good. Tayyab, life that is good in this
world. That is why in surah
and still today up till now today people are
befooled by this that they think that
people are to fight physically kill
somebody else and then they are
alive or if you are dead in the war.
That is why Allah says

you are not aware of it, you don’t have
how you become alive in this
world. There are two lives and two
deaths, you have to be alive in
this world to get the Garden, you
have to sell you psyche and Allah
is to purchase the psyche of the
believers then only you can become
alive and there you are admitting
that Allah you gave us two lives
and two deaths we wasted that
with full of sins. That is why Allah says

and you do not say to people
those who are dead being killed in the way of Allah
They are not dead but they are
alive and you are not aware of it,
you are not conscious of it,
shaoor, you understand shaoor
what is in Urdu also. Shaoor means
you don’t have that awareness
of it or you are not conscious
of it that how you are alive in
this world physical alive and alive.
