After you have registered for classes, you may wish to make changes to your schedule, such as dropping or withdrawing from a course,
which will be demonstrated in this video.
You should always make these decisions with the help of your advisor.
If you plan to drop a course and have not spoken with your advisor yet, please do so before watching this video.
Let's begin by going to the main SCTCC webpage, www.sctcc.edu.
Then click "Register for Courses" and continue to the E-Services log in page.
Log in using your Student ID or username and the password you previously created.
If you have never logged in to E-services before, please pause this video and watch the "Introduction to E-Services" video first.
If you have trouble loggin in, click the "Need Login Help" link, here.
Remember to check this box to display your name before logging in.
From your Dashboard, click the "Courses and Registration" tab on the left side of the page.
Then click the "View/Modify Schedule" tab.
This is where you can find a list of the courses you are currently registered for,
as well as information such as your major and your advisor.
Before removing a class you should always look at the "Last Dates to Drop/Withdraw" column.
Hover over this clock icon to display the last days that you can drop or withdraw from the course.
As you can see, you would have through June 21 to drop this course with no penalties,
and through July 30 to withdraw from the course and receive a W.
To remove a course from your schedule, simply click the "X" icon next to the course.
Enter your E-services password in the box, then click "Drop/Withdraw."
If you were able to successfully remove the course,
you will see a message stating that the drop or withdraw was succesful at the top of the page.
If you go back to the "View/Modify Schedule" tab,
You will see that the course no longer shows up in your schedule.
At this point, you may want to print a new copy of your schedule by clicking the "Print Schedule" link.
