Hi
I'm Ben, I used to be a basketball coach
on the camps and I organize basically
the camps on Vichy
and do all the recruitments. Each campus has
it's own specificities and sports facilities
so we use some camps
for basketball and tohers for football.
in the mornings, all the kids are
grouped in the Cavilam for the
English or French lessons or language lessons.
They can bump into each other and but
they have to know that if they don't choose the same sports
they'll probably be on different campus' during the stay
Once the foreign students arrive, they're gonna have to
speak French with the other kids, it's gonna be
during all the sports activities and in the rooms as well
we've got around 90% French kids
on the camps
They're going to be surrounded by French students
so you are going to have to be very,
very open minded and speak to everyone.
What we usually do, is we ask the counselors
to be very aware about this and to speak
both to the foreign students and the French students
so that they can mix really quickly. We've got
our counselors that speak a little English. French students speak
a little English as well so we can really
speak to to everyone and make sure that all is OK!
