The Tale of Mimi the Mermaid. You know, I've always wondered what it would be like to live in a human world. I'm sure it would be so much fun. There once was a beautiful mermaid named Mimi who lived in a pool. What's this? Wait, what, a pool? This is not your typical fairy tale. Woo, woo wait. Doesn't she realize that's the bad luck penny? I think it's called a penny. If I'm not mistaken. Wait. a penny. Doesn't that mean good luck? I should make a wish. I wish that I could go to the human world. Oh, hi. I'm Mimi. I'm a mermaid. I made a wish. And I wished to go to the human world. And it worked and now I'm here. OK. Well, your tip. Is you don't sit on the TV ledge, you sit on the couch or the chairs. Oh. Umm, woop. Maybe you can me. Maybe you can teach me how to do human stuff. I mean, I've got nothing to lose. I mean, I can try to teach you some stuff like humans do every day. Yay. I'll be so excited to learn all the human stuff. Let's go. Oh. OK. So if you're going to learn the human world, you have to dress like a human, so you've got to have this like cute little pink tank top. And then they have some white shorts. Wait. You only have one fin. And shorts have two holes for legs. I got it. A skirt. OK. Here, try this on. Mimi got the shirt on pretty well. Hey. And as for the skirt, she did pretty good, considering her circumstances of having a tail. Get up. Woop. Now, you dance. Kaelyn decided to teach Mimi some fabulous dance moves. And let me just say that these dance moves are so good. I, I just, they're so beautiful it brings tears to my eyes. I mean, look at this. This girl should get an award. I mean, look at that dancing. It's so great. Good, your turn. All right, I'll try. I think I'm getting the hang of it. Oh, oh. I'm not very good at dancing. I mean, I can hardly even stand. Ow. Fin, that hurt. Dancing is difficult. OK. Now we're going to try some human food. So these are Cheetos, and they are more of a snack. But they're pretty good. A Cheeto? I've never seen anything like this. Umm. I guess I'll give it a try. Fleck. Eh. It's disgusting. You don't like Cheetos? Who doesn't like Cheetos. They're so good. OK, something us humans is jump on the trampoline. It's really fun and bouncy. So it's pretty easy. I'll show you how to do it. It's fun. Ready? Woo. Now you try. Oh, it's hard. Yike. I got it. I don't want it. Ooh. My fin hurts. I think I sprained my fin. So how do you like your day so far, being in the human world? I mean, don't get me wrong, being humans great, and it was a great experience for me. But it's just, it's so complicated. I know you're coming from. I know you've been a mermaid all your life. And that's where you came from. And, probably really weird, like going to a whole new world.
