Hi, I'm Maria. I'm standing outside of the Bauer Family Academic Center. Inside, it houses
state-of-the-art classrooms, faculty and administrative offices, and an on-campus chiropractic clinic.
Let's check it out!
We're in the Connections Office on the first floor of Bauer. At Connections get your questions
answered, whether you are looking for off-campus housing, a roommate, or you just need an I.D.
or a parking permit, these folks are here to help.
If you're an incoming freshman, you'll take a class called Freshman Focus. This is your
basic "College 101" course. As part of this course, freshman are guaranteed a job their
first semester. You will be paired with a faculty or staff member who will serve as
your mentor. Also here on the first floor of the Bauer Building is the ADVANCE and MBA
Office. These are academic programs for non-traditional students working on their business management
bachelor's or MBA degrees.
For the most part, you'll spend time in the classrooms of Bauer. You won't find lecture
halls with three hundred students at D'Youville. Our classrooms offer small, comfortable learning
environments in which to engage in discussions, ask questions, and absorb as much knowledge
as humanly possible.
And while you're here, say hello to the Catalyst staff, who are constantly working ***
the school newspaper.
I'm standing in the chiropractic clinic, on the fourth floor of the Bauer Building. This
full-service state-of-the-art chiropractic clinic serves as a facility to train our doctor
of chiropractic students.
Perhaps, the single most unique fact about D'Youville is that our students, faculty and
staff get free chiropractic care.
We're invested millions to make sure that our doctoral candidates have all they need.
