Eliza Taylor: Thank you. Thank you.
It's so exciting.
Female Speaker: It's your first time being at Comic-Con?
Eliza Taylor: Yes it's amazing. I'm having so much fun.
Female Speaker: Is it your first time here? Eliza Taylor: Yes it is. Yeah.
Female Speaker: Are you excited for the panel. Have they prepared you?
Eliza Taylor: No. I don't know what I'm doing but it'll be
fun I think. You know at least I'm with all the cast
and the writers so we're good. Yeah.
Female Speaker: You guys are showing the first episode right?
Eliza Taylor: Yes. We're screening the pilot episode so
it'll be interesting to see people's reactions. Yeah.
Female Speaker: So for people who aren't able to be here and who don't know
anything about the show can you just talk a little bit about what the show is about
and more specifically who your character is? Eliza Taylor: Okay.
Well it's set 97 years after the nuclear apocalypse so it's basically about 100
juvenile offenders who got sent back to earth from the last remaining space
station to see if it's inhabitable again so it's yeah a lot of - a whole lot of
young people running around the earth madly and my character is sort of, Clark
is like a natural born leader I think, you know, she doesn't really realize it until
she is thrust into this situation which she has to take the lead and be the sensible
one so yeah.
Female Speaker: And I'm just curious, I'm guessing you guys haven't tried anything
except the pilot. Eliza Taylor: We haven't.
We start shooting mid-August so I'm so excited.
Female Speaker: Have you heard anything about how, about what the format will be
like after the show after the pilot you know. Eliza Taylor: I just know.
They've been really tight lipped about everything but I do know that because
we're -you know they were planning to do 22 episodes but they're condensing it all
into 13 so I think every episode is just gonna be an explosion of you know craziness.
It will be really intense which is cool. Yeah.
Female Speaker: And if you were dropped in sort of this new earth what would you miss
the most about your life today? Eliza Taylor: Oh gosh.
Probably just having a cup of tea on the couch and watching teli.
I'm boring like that. Female Speaker: It's the little pleasures.
Eliza Taylor: Sorry. Female Speaker: It's the little pleasures.
Eliza Taylor: Yeah exactly. The small things yeah.
Female Speaker: And then what would be your sort of survival plan?
Eliza Taylor: Oh gosh. I don't know.
I think I'd be hopeless to be honest you know in an apocalypse.
I don't really know what I do but I'm yeah I don't know.
Find a bunker.
Female Speaker: You know it's from the - Eliza Taylor: Yeah from The 100.
Yeah. It's perfect.
I'll be prepared by the end of filming so yeah.
Female Speaker: Then finally what was your most memorable moments from shooting
the pilot?
Eliza Taylor: It's a good question.
I don't know I don't have one memorable moment. The whole thing was such a huge
experience for me. It was -it's my first American production
so every day was kinda like a surreal dream. It was just so amazing and working with
these guys is so cool.
Female Speaker: That's a good moment. Eliza Taylor: Yeah.
Yeah the whole thing was just a wonderful moment.
