Lucy - I’m Lucy
Grace - And I’m Grace and we’re both studying Children’s Nursing at the University of Manchester.
Lucy - We’re both in our third and final year.
Lucy - I think Nursing is something that I always wanted to do.
Grace - Yeah. Lucy - And child branch really. I think when
you start you know which particular branch you want to go into.
Grace - I was a bit unsure when I started whether I wanted to do Adult or Child because
I didn’t want to limit my options too much by choosing Child, but when I learnt more
about the course I realised there were still lots of options within Children’s Nursing.
Lucy - It’s still really varied even in one particular branch.
Grace - Yes, lots of opportunities. Lucy - I think Manchester’s really good
because it’s quite a big city and it’s got a really varied population so you get
to work with all kinds of different people. Grace - There’s lots going on, there’s
lots of social things as well. Lucy - It’s a really good city for students,
it is very student friendly. Grace - And the School of Nursing has got
a really good reputation here. Lucy - Yeah, I think Manchester’s one of
the top for Nursing. Grace - Top for Nursing in Europe, so that
was another thing that attracted me, really. Lucy - Yeah.
