7th Yury Bashmet Festival opens in Minsk. Today a chamber music festival will be held at the Belarusian State Philharmonic Society on the second festival day.
It is dedicated to the 20th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Belarus and Israel.
"Aviv-kvartet" from Israel will perform there. And on Thursday maestro Yury Bashmet accompanied by the State Symphonic Orchestra will be a soloist there. Previously unperformed Giya Kancheli's work "Stix" will be executed there.
He will be a special guest of the concert.
