Bentley Continental Gt 2011 Minichamps 1/18 - Critical review

Hi guys I would like to show you a new Bentley Continental from Minichamps. I will compare this model with older Continental GT from Minichamps and with Mulsanne from Minichamps too. This is my seventh Bentley from Minichamps and this one represents the lowest quality. So in this presentation I will be talking only about faults of this model. Let's start here the side moldings they are not separate elements they are just painted on the surface of the metal and the quality of paint is bad and it is easy to scrath it I just scratched it. Maybe you will see it. It's very easy to scratch it. Look at this model The side moldings are separate elements they are looking like a real chrome they are very nice looking Also here The next thing I don't like in this model are wheels especially this part of wheels. Look at the holes. There should be some nuts but they are empty. It leaves very bad impression because wheels in this car are very big , so there should be some nuts definately. Look at this one. You can see the nuts It makes the rims very detailed and very beautiul. Next thing I don't like are the wipers. The wipers are placed deinately too high they should be hidden much more. They disrupt the presence of the car. Look at this model. The wipers are hidden well. Here are almost invisible just like in a real car. Next fault actually it's the biggest fault in this model is the front suspension its it's too high, it should be lower. And it's too wide look at the tires, they should be hide a little more. I'm going to shorten the suspension so you will see the photos before and after shortening at the end of this presentation. Next fault in this model is engine. the engine leaves you a bad impression it looks like in a cheap model. the materials are not good looking here should be some container. Look at this engine It's made from better materials and it's more detailed. Look this is a separate element of Bentley logo, very beautiful. It's a very nice looking engine. The next fault in this model is the trunk. It ends here Its capacity is definately too small. When you look at it it leaves you a bad impression. You probably not see the deepness but take a look at my finger it goes quite deep. This is good looking trunk Also here this is very deep trunk just it should looks like. And finally take a look at the bottom of the car. now take a look at this. It's much more detailed it's much more impressive Very nice looking. And again this one. So I'm very dissapointed by the quality this model offers And I hope that Minichamps and Bentley will avoid such a failures, faults next time because the price Minichamps wants for this model is definately too high.
