[Energetic dubstep music]
[Cheers and applause]
Go, go
It's a party up in here.
Welcome to Wolf Watch.
I'm your host, Jill Wagner,
and we've got a jam-packed show for you tonight.
I'd like to welcome our guests.
First, it's the man responsible
for tonight's black light party.
Here's Danny, Keahu Kahuanui.
[Cheers and applause]
Next, it's the new girl of Beacon Hills.
It's Kira, Arden Cho.
[Cheers and applause]
And from the hit show Switched at Birth
on ABC Family,
this is Lucas Grabeel.
[Cheers and applause]
And in honor of last night's Grammy Awards,
which featured so many amazing performances,
tonight we're focusing on music.
So we brought in one of the
top young DJs in the biz.
Cole Plante, welcome to Wolf Watch.
- Hi.
- How are you, buddy?
I'm good.
I'm good, thank you.
Awesome, Cole will be spinning
some tunes throughout the show,
but right now, let's talk about
this crazy episode, people.
We know now that Stiles is
the one who wrote your name
on the chalkboard or Kira's name.
Is was anybody else
completely taken aback by that?
It's a bit of a surprise, especially considering
Stiles is always to the rescue, you know?
Right?
Do we like this new, darker Stiles,
or do we like the funny Stiles?
Yeah, I mean, I love funny Stiles.
I mean, Dylan is amazing,
but I think it's been awesome
to watch him go into the darker side
and to see what's happening there.
Well, it's always interesting
to see some kind of turn,
you know, a switch.
You've got these great characters
that you create, and then all of a sudden,
you find out some dark secret about them.
Okay, so we have our first big fight
with Scott's pack
and the mysterious hooded creature things.
How do you kill something that magically heals
and that can pull weapons out of thin air?
We definitely want to kill them.
We do want to kill them.
- But I don't know how.
- They seem bad.
That was really scary, though,
when it was, like [Clicks tongue]
- [Laughs]
- Yeah, I'm gonna
just, like, totally
"nope, you didn't break my neck.
"
His neck just, like, snaps back ugh, so creepy.
But they don't like the light,
so maybe that's some sort of correlation
to how you kill them.
See, that's what I was thinking.
Just never go to sleep.
Always have light all around you all the time.
Yeah, of course, night-lights
All right, Arden, in real life,
if you were to be going out with a guy,
and he would turn into a werewolf,
what would you feel?
That's kind of awesome,
'cause I'll always be protected.
Right? [Laughing]
And it's kind of sexy.
I can back you up on that.
There is a sense of, like,
he can kick anybody's ***.
Don't [Bleep] with me.
What would you guys feel like
if you were going out with someone,
and they turned into a werewolf?
I'd be a little worried.
[Laughter]
Do they shed? Do, like
[laughing]
Hairy girl
Ehhh
[Laughter]
Isaac, Lydia, Ethan, Aidan, and Derek
now have the number five behind their ear,
which, by the way, kids,
is a great place to have a tattoo
so your parents will never find it.
[All laughing]
So they all have the backwards number five
behind their ears.
Why are those characters targeted?
It's got to be some sort of danger, right?
They've been hypnotized.
They're
or it could be like,
"you're the lucky winner to something.
"
Maybe they get superpowers.
Maybe they're looking for disciples.
Oh, yeah, they're all gonna
become the mask people.
Oh, yeah, maybe the hooded people
took their souls,
and they have, like, a time limit.
And then if the time limit runs out, they die.
They have five more days.
Everyone's gonna die!
This is the best question ever,
because nobody knows the answer.
[Laughter]
All right, so, Keahu, I'm gonna get
break into something fun here.
We're gonna talk about black light parties,
and have you ever thrown one?
[Beatboxing]
I actually have.
It was in a big basement, so
you couldn't hear anything.
There was styrofoam all around the walls
so the neighbors wouldn't complain,
and we all had to wear white shirts.
Uh-huh.
So we had highlighters,
and we were marking each other's shirts
and, like, writing on it.
So basically like the party
that you threw in Teen Wolf.
Pretty much, except more clothes.
[Laughter]
We can't have that at Teen Wolf.
- No way.
- No.
[Laughter]
All right, Keahu, Lydia calls Aidan out
for being a bad guy,
and he turns right around.
His reaction is, he's nice.
And then he was dancing with someone else
in the in the elevator.
Is he being for real,
or is that just a game he's
playing to get her back?
- He's a player.
- Yeah.
- He's a player.
- Yep.
- Aww.
- I agree.
He is a player.
He will say what you want to hear.
And you know how we feel about players?
- We hate 'em.
- We hate 'em.
But I think he could be nice.
Oh, God, you're confusing me.
- Wow.
- Do we like him?
Or do we we like him.
We like him.
All right, well, there are two Tylers
that star on Teen Wolf,
which can get a bit confusing at times.
Besides having the same name,
they're both extremely talented
and extremely hot.
Ow!
And I want to see how well
you know the differences between them,
so I'll give you a series of facts,
and you have to tell me if they refer
to Tyler Posey or Tyler Hoechlin.
- Are you guys ready?
- Ready.
All right, then let's play:
Name That Tyler.
[Cheers and applause]
Okay, Lucas, this Tyler turned down the role
of Edward's brother, Emmett,
in the Twilight films.
Hoechlin.
[Bell dings] Hoechlin! That's right.
I don't know how I feel about that now.
[Cheers and applause]
Okay, Arden, this Tyler has
a tattoo of a zombie hand
on his leg.
Posey.
Yeah, it's got to be Posey, right?
I was like, "this is too easy.
"
Who else would do that?
Uh, Keahu, which Tyler is compared to grumpy cat?
[All laughing]
Grumpy Hoechlin.
[Laughing]
[Bell dings and laughter]
[Laughing] Grumpy Hoechlin.
Okay, Cole, this one's for you.
This Tyler released a hit rap song called Domo 23.
Well, that Tyler's not a werewolf, actually.
That would be Tyler, the creator of our future.
[Bell dings] He got it right!
All right, guys, that was fun to play.
Okay, we have to take our first break,
but when we get back,
we've got more behind-the-scenes fun
with Mr.
Tyler Posey.
And later on, we'll get an exclusive sneak peek
at next week's episode, so stick around.
Cole, take us out, buddy.
Drop the beat, drop the beat
[Cheers and applause]
[Energetic dubstep music]
Drop, drop
[energetic dubstep music]
Welcome back to Wolf Watch.
I'm Jill Wagner, joined by my guests,
Keahu Kahuanui, Arden Cho,
Lucas Grabeel, and Cole Plante.
[Cheers and applause]
Now, our viewers know we keep track
of several recurring aspects of Teen Wolf,
and we call them our wolf stats,
and we're ready to add some new figures.
So the body count was low, with no deaths.
But we saw one fight, and it was a big one,
with the wolf pack taking on
the mysterious hooded creatures.
We saw one hookup, Stiles and Caitlin.
And we saw a ton of shirtless bodies
at the party:
Allison, Danny, Ethan, and Aidan.
And I know the ladies like that.
And as for our bonus stat,
the number of times someone has used wolf-vision
to find a girl he has a crush on
at a party is up to 1.
Yes, nice job, Scott.
[Laughter]
All right, let's change gears a bit, shall we?
Lucas, tell us about your new single.
It's called 135N8.
First of all, how did you come up with 135N8?
It's a dance track, so it's based on kind of
the beats of the song, you
know, like, 1-3-5 and 8.
So, you know, the story being
a guy watching a girl dancing
on those beats, and they kind of have
some kind of crazy connection,
and they start dancing together
and create a 1, 3, 5, and 8 dance move.
Nice.
And the song is out right now.
And the video will be released on February 11th.
Nice, nice.
Okay, Cole, now, you have a new single out.
It's called, here we go now,
and that features Perry Farrell,
which we all know from Jane's Addiction.
He's amazing.
How did that connection come up?
You know, Perry's a fan of
my music, and I'm a huge fan
of Jane's Addiction as well, obviously.
And he loved it so much that he
got in contact with my manager
and said, "hey, let's work on a song together.
"
And, of course, I said, "yes," you know.
That's pretty cool.
Well, Arden, you're new on the show.
I want to know, did you interact
with any of the actors before you got the job?
No, I didn't know anybody before I got the job,
so I met everyone on set.
How have they been to you
since you've been on the set?
Everyone has been great, except for Keahu.
[Laughter]
No, I'm just kidding.
No, everyone's great.
I was really intimidated,
'cause it's such a talented, beautiful cast,
and I was scared to kind of come in
you fit right in, girl.
You fit right in.
Thank you, thank you.
So Keahu, what was your first impression of Arden
when she got to set?
- [Gasps]
- You can be honest.
He's giving me such a suspicious look.
[Both laughing]
Honestly, she was incredibly, incredibly
like, really nice.
And we just sat and, you know, caught up
and talked about the show, so
I thought you were gonna say, "cuddled.
"
[Laughter]
You two sat and just cuddled.
Okay, Arden, how's the fan response been to you?
I know you go online.
You see the chat boards and stuff, right?
Oh, I mean, it's been great,
and everybody's really sweet.
And I love how they know and see everything.
Yeah?
I couldn't get away with anything.
- Those fans notice
- Both: Everything.
Like, continuity and everything, they just know.
- Right?
- I love it.
All right, Lucas,
if you could play any role in Teen Wolf,
what would it be?
What about a creature?
- Let's make this question
- I think-no.
No, no, no, no, I want to change my question.
Let's do I have the ability to do that
'cause I'm the host.
- All right.
- Whoa.
I want to know what creature you would want to be.
- That lizard thing
- The kanima.
was pretty awesome.
I think I would like to do that,
minus the hours of makeup
that you'd have to sit through.
That would be pretty cool.
He looked really badass too, right?
Yeah, yeah, totally.
That's pretty cool.
I saw one of those the other day at my doorstep,
and I couldn't walk by it.
- It was a kanima at my doorstep.
- What?
I was like, "really?" I took a picture of it.
We'll share it later in the show.
Cole, why are you such a fan of Teen Wolf?
Werewolves are kind of badass.
It's really funny,
and I really like a lot of
mythical creatures, so
I'm a teenager I feel like I just
I just by default like it
'cause it's called Teen Wolf.
[All laughing]
Well, Tyler Posey has been
our Wolf Watch correspondent.
Now, each week, we give him a different mission.
This time, we simply wanted to know
what kind of music he listens to,
so check it out.
On this episode of Tyler's take,
we will be talking about Blink-182.
Blink-182 has inspired me to make music.
My favorite character from
Blink-182 is Tom Delonge.
He is the guitarist and singer.
I got their album when I was seven years old.
It was Enema of the State.
I want to be covered in
tattoos like Travis and Tom.
These bars right here
Tom Delonge kind of has the same tattoo
right here on his arm, only
it's a little different.
It just means "Blink-182" to me,
and, like, my idol is Tom Delonge.
I was Tom Delonge for
Halloween, 'cause he's the man.
This right here is the first note D flat
the first note of one of their songs
off Dude Ranch.
My favorite blink-182 song is
Not Now, Man Overboard, Touchdown Boy,
Josie, Online Songs, Shut the [Bleep] Up.
That's a good song.
So that's Tyler's take.
[Applause]
Okay, I think it's safe to
say someone has a man crush.
All right, we have to take another break,
but when we return, Arden, Keahu, Lucas, and Cole
will face off to see who is
the biggest Teen Wolf junkie.
And you won't want to miss an exclusive preview
of next week's Teen Wolf,
presented to you by AT&T.
Stay tuned.
Cole, let's hear it.
[Energetic dubstep music]
[Cheers and applause]
We're back with Wolf Watch.
I'm Jill Wagner with our guests,
Arden Cho,
Keahu Kahuanui,
Lucas Grabeel,
and Cole Plante.
[Cheers and applause]
That's right.
It's time for my favorite part of the show.
- It's game time.
- Whoo!
Oh, yeah, and I have a bunch
of Teen Wolf multiple choice questions
that only true fans of the show can answer,
and the first person to buzz
in with the correct answer
[bell dings]
Not yet
for each question wins a point,
but make sure you wait until
I give all three choices
before you buzz in.
- Penalty for that, right?
- There is a penalty, yes.
- [Bell dings]
- Hey, no, that's
- extra penalty for that.
- He did it.
Look at these guys.
They're all ready.
- They're so excited.
- Stop.
So, guys, whoever racks up
the most points at the end
will be our winner, all right?
Are you ready?
All: Yes.
Okay, let's play
Here we go.
What is the name of Lydia's dog?
-
- [Bell dings]
Keahu.
Prada.
Prada would be right.
[Cheers and applause]
Oh, yes.
All right, what did Allison steal
from Kate's purse the night Scott ate dinner
at the Argent house?
Is it
-
- [Bell dings]
Lucas.
That'd be a ***.
And that would be right.
[Cheers and applause]
All right, what movie's inspirational speech
did Coach Finstock quote before
a championship lacrosse game?
Is it
-
- [Bell dings]
Okay, Arden.
Independence Day.
Independence Day is right.
You guys know the show.
Okay, next question.
Who attempted to lose her virginity to Stiles
at her 17th birthday party?
-
- [Bell dings]
Keahu.
Heather.
- Heather is right.
- Yeah!
Come on, guys.
They have an advantage.
[All laughing]
Slight advantage.
Just a little.
Not really.
They make us watch the show, like, five times.
Okay, in season one, Stiles
was bumped up to first line
when most of the lacrosse team
came down with what ailment?
-
-
-
- [Bell dings]
Cole!
Pink eye.
You got it!
[Cheers and applause]
Yes!
Next question.
In between seasons two and three, Allison spent
four months in what country?
-
-
-
- [Bell dings]
Cole!
Oh, France.
France is right.
- I knew that too.
- I knew that one.
Cole, you're killing it now.
It just took you a little while to wake up, right?
Last question, people.
What was the name of the video store
where Lydia and Jackson went to rent The Notebook?
Aww.
-
-
-
- [Bell dings]
Keahu.
Video 2C.
Was that after you finished, though?
And she did it! I was just following her lead.
Really? I don't know judges?
The person in my ear says we have to count that.
[Cheers and applause]
Well, now I know the rules.
There are no rules.
[All laughing]
[Bell dinging] Keahu, you're the winner.
[Cheers and applause]
We have a winner prize for you,
which is this lovely Wolf
Watch winner mug and T-shirt.
But you know what?
We also have Wolf Watch loser mugs
[All laughing]
and T-shirts for you guys as well,
which, personally, I think are way cooler.
Um, I think this is really cool.
So here you go.
It's just what I wanted.
Yay!
All right, it's time for one last break,
but when we get back, we'll introduce the world
to our newest Alpha of the week,
and we'll whet your appetite with a taste
of next week's episode of Teen Wolf.
But before all that,
we've got a scene from that episode
to show you right now.
Check it out.
I'm right, aren't I?
They're looking for me.
They're looking for a dark spirit,
and I know it's not you.
Scott, you're gonna have to do something.
[Glass shatters]
[Ominous music]
Don't do anything.
Is he serious?
I said, "don't do anything.
"
[Energetic dubstep music]
All right, welcome back to Wolf Watch.
We've had some terrific guests here tonight:
Keahu, Arden, Lucas, and Cole.
[Cheers and applause]
And now I'd like to welcome someone else.
It's the mega-fan we've chosen
for our Alpha of the week.
This week, we have Maeve
from Jacksonville, Florida.
[Cheers and applause]
And we discovered her on YouTube,
where she's posted a video
of an original song she wrote about Teen Wolf.
It's amazing.
It's called for Isaac, and here's a peek.
Down, down, down, down
you won't be falling
down, down, down, down
with me, you won't fall
[Bright acoustic guitar music]
[Cheers and applause]
And Maeve is here.
She's joining us via video chat.
Welcome to Wolf Watch, Maeve.
How are you?
I'm good.
How are you?
We're wonderful.
That is amazing.
You have such a beautiful voice.
Oh, my gosh, thank you so much.
How long did it take to
for you to write that song?
Um, that one, not so long.
I think I was just kind of fueled
by all the werewolf-related emotions on that one.
[All laughing]
I guess it's pretty safe to say
that Isaac is your favorite character, right?
Oh, definitely, yeah.
And why him? Why not Kate?
[Laughter]
Um, I think he's just very relatable.
Like, even with the whole
werewolf supernatural thing,
he's still just like a normal teenager
going through normal things.
Maeve, why do relate so well to Teen Wolf?
I think it's just that even though they have
so much to deal with, like,
in their own home lives,
they still try to put the good of other people
before themselves, and they work so hard
to do what's right for everyone.
Is she not the most adorable thing
that you've ever seen in your entire life?
She is so adorable.
I love it.
She, like, screams world peace.
Right? [Laughter]
So, Maeve, is there anything you'd like to ask
any of our guests here tonight?
Um, yes, actually, I have a question for Arden.
I wanted to know if you had to do any research
on the mythology in Kira's family
before you started the show.
Ooh, I did not do as much
research on Kira's family,
but I did a lot of research on Teen Wolf.
- And she liked that, right?
- I loved it.
I watched first to the third season
in less than a week.
[All laughing]
Dedication.
Well, Maeve, thank you so
much for being on the show
and writing that beautiful song,
and keep keep it up.
We'd love to hear some more from you.
Thank you so much for having me, oh, my gosh.
All right, well, congrats again to Maeve,
our Alpha of the week.
[Cheers and applause]
- Bye-bye.
- Bye.
All right, bye, Maeve!
So let's move on to the moment
that every Teen Wolf fan loves,
of course, the exclusive
preview of next week's episode.
Now, without any further ado:
Next on Teen Wolf
They are demons.
Are you scared?
You don't fight a force of nature.
They're looking for me.
[Growls]
- You endure it.
- [Roars]
Wow, can anything stop those hooded creatures?
Ugh, well, you can catch a full episode
next Monday at 10 P.
M.
only on MTV.
I'm sad to say that's
right, I have to say it
we're out of time.
Ugh!
But for more with the wolf pack,
head over to the after-aftershow on MTV.
com
and the MTV app right now.
Big thanks to Keahu Kahuanui,
Arden Cho,
Lucas Grabeel,
and Cole Plante
for hanging out with me today.
Thank you guys so much.
Don't miss next week's Wolf Watch
when Holland Roden will join me
to chat about Teen Wolf fashion,
plus some special guests.
I've got Carmen.
I'm Jill Wagner, reminding you to watch your back.
You never know what creatures
are lurking out there in the dark.
Hit it, Cole!
[Energetic techno music]
I want you to lie to me
If you say something
