Mary Rose: My husband will say "I'm not hungry. I don’t want lunch." And in the early stages
I would be offended and upset. I knew he needed lunch - he's a diabetic, he should have his
food - and I'd be a little huffy about it. But after coming to the classes, I found out
he's not real sure what he said I can't be sure that when he says he's not hungry, that
he even knows what he's saying or means what he's saying so therefore I ignore what he
says, go on fix lunch, give him a couple of minutes and time to be distracted and I'll
go back in and say, "Honey, lunch is ready. Come on, let's have lunch." He'll get up,
come in, sit down, eat the full meal, be happy and it's like: lesson learned! Thank you.
