Well my project started about 8 years ago.
I was a fourth-grader.
I wanted to do a basketball tournament at the beginning of the summer.
For me and my friends kind'a to get together
and I was a sure really what I wanted to donate to
but I have them all bring $5 to participate.
After that first tournament we were sitting on about $1,500
and I went to go visit my friend Tyler Genneken in the hospital.
When I went to visit him I noticed a lot of
broken toys, and a lot of missing game board pieces
and I set out my goal to fix all all the toys
in the Riley Hospital
and I donate to the Cheer Guild.
So they have to supply about 14,000 toys a month
to all of the inpatients and outpatients though Riley.
So to be able to see the impact it has on them
for them getting a toy after a surgery
is just remarkable.
Honestly it's just if you have a giving heart
you need to give as much as possible.
The thing that's made me give more and more every year
and just want to put more time into is the face.
Like I love giving to where the point
it making other people happy makes me happy.
So that's kinda what my thing is,
so if I can make as many people's happy as possible.
