MARIE: It was going great, but then I heard something and it appears the rumours are true. I don't want to see either of you again! MAMEHA: Ben! What did you do this time? BEN: What? I didn't do anything! MAMEHA: It's cause you made her cry at the dance. BEN: What?! No! She said she forgot about that already. MAMEHA: Did you talk to her over the weekend or anything? BEN: No. MAMEHA: Aha! That must be it. BEN: No, she said "either of us again" so we both must have done something wrong. MAMEHA: Hmm, sounds like I gotta do some more digging around now. Something smells fishy around here. TRENT: Did you hear? ZEKE: Hear what? TRENT: About Ben and Mameha. LYNNE: What about them? TRENT: Rumour is that Mameha is crushing on Ben enough for her to stalk him. Remember we saw her run after Ben at the dance? YUKI: Yeah, but we saw Zeke run after Mameha too. Zeke, you should be able to tell us what happened. ZEKE: Well, when she did run after Ben, she seemed pretty concerned about him. I mean she was spying on Ben when I asked her to the dance. LYNNE & YUKI: What? Really? LYNNE: Well, Mameha is hanging out with Ben a lot too... I don't think Mameha would do that though. TRENT: What do you mean? YUKI: 'Cause Marie likes Ben. ZEKE: So who would start such a rumour and why? LYNNE: I wonder how Marie is dealing with this. TRENT: Well, Lynne you should go look after Marie. Yuki go deal with Mameha. Zeke go deal with Ben. Trent's out there getting info. BEN: Trent? Alright, I'm sure he'll get to the bottom of this better than Mameha. ZEKE: What do you mean? BEN: When Marie told us off and ran away, Mameha said she was going to get to the bottom of this and left. ZEKE: I see. So how much truth do you think is in this rumour? BEN: Truth? What truth? None of it. It was Mameha's idea in the first place for me to ask Marie to the dance. ZEKE: Really? Well, I'll tell everyone else about that. The question is why would someone try to start a rumour like this anyways? BEN: Beats me. ZEKE: Would it be someone who wants to break up the band? Because this could have done that. BEN: I don't think so, especially if it's this easy to disprove. I think we're missing something else here. ZEKE: Well I texted Trent the new info. Hope he figures out the why. LYNNE: Marie, are you okay? MARIE: How could I be so stupid? I knew I shouldn't have said anything about liking Ben. If I just been quiet about this none of this would be happening. LYNNE: No Marie. You should follow your heart and use it. What good is it to keep something inside and let it consume you? I'm glad that you told us so that we can help you. Are you really mad at Ben and Mameha? MARIE: No, I'm not. I’m mad at myself more right now I guess. It's just easier to be mad at someone else. I know Mameha's not crushing on Ben and that she has really been trying to help me. LYNNE: It's strange though. Whoever started this rumour should have known it’s not going to last long because of the people involved. Something doesn't add up. MARIE: Really. I just wanted to have a little fun with it cause it's fun to get Mameha mad. I didn't think that everyone would take it so seriously. I know Mameha doesn't have a crush on Ben.
