My name is Mignonne Lemire, I do a lot of work with wire wrapping
I do some soldering and, I've been doing it for about 15 years now
I like the challenge of creating something new
I like to, I like to be challenged and custom work challenges you, because a lot of times people want things you wouldn't think to make
And it gives you a chance to be more creative with it, and the customer gets exactly what they want and it's not something they have to settle for
When you don't have to settle, is more important and it means more.
For a while, it used to be, everybody wanted handmade and it meant more
It was more quality, and was, you know, was the important thing
And then people sort of got too busy
And they started buying in a store 'cause it was quicker and easier and I think people are learning that its not always the best way
Because I think sometimes you might buy something in the store and not pay a lot for it, and its broken in a couple weeks
You know, and it doesn't mean as much as something you had made specially for that person, its much more special.
