Vintage Ephemera Collecting - Ephemera people magazine collectibles

Okay, talking about ephemera magazines, there are so many different types of magazines, I mean, Life magazines, Look magazines, Saturday Evening Post. But one of my favorite magazines would be this, these are the People magazines. This particular one, remember that movie, Airplane, of course if you do, that means you're as old as I am, but anyway, this movie Airplane was really famous, and this one is from, I think 1980, or 1988, and these were actually mine, I saved them, see they were mailed to me when I was just a child, it's pretty amazing. Look at this, this one is Lee Majors, you know what, they have the Bionic Man and stuff like that, that's what that one is. Yes, I actually did the tour guide at Universal Studios, and I pointed out where they did that bionic stuff. Hey, look at this, remember Bo Derek, she was in that move Tan, well there was a reason for that, she was pretty nice looking. And over here, why Chris quit tennis, now that's a sports memorabilia, is another ephemera collectible, sports magazines, we have lots of those. Okay, let me show you something else that's really cool, how about this, "Sex on the Soaps", big deal right, now it's like nudity, anyway, it's really cool, let me put it down so you can see a little better that "Sex on the Soaps", how cool is that, an old soaps. Lets wind it up with a couple of others, look at Paul Simon, how precious, look how cute he is, isn't that adorable, this one is from 1980, he is so darn cute. And then, our buddy, look at this, The Shining, Jack Nicholson. People who know Jack now, won't even recognize this, look at him, he looks about 12 years old, isn't that amazing. But these People magazines are highly collectible, and they sell between 5 and 10 dollars, but it all depends on magazines, who's on the cover. If someone really famous is on the cover, they're worth more, or if it's a historic event, they're worth more, like the Beatles, Beatles ones are worth like 20, 30 dollars a piece, it's pretty awesome. So you might want to think about magazines, although now they print so many more. So if you're thinking about collecting them, they won't be worth nearly as much, because there's more out there for people to save.
