(Jimaleen - Graduate:) The Physical Therapist Assistant
program is phenomenal. You get such a solid education in the
two-year associate program, and you just walk away with
those life-learning skills.
You go out knowing and feeling confident that you're going to
have those skills to be the best PTA possible.
(Jeff - Instructor:) PTA's work under the supervision of
Physical Therapists in a variety of settings -- in hospitals, outpatient
clinics, school systems, nursing homes, rehab centers, etc.
People who enjoy interpersonal contact with others, who can
communicate well, who can work well, who can adapt to a lot of different
personalities where they're working, really do well with this.
If you graduate from an accredited program, which we are, and pass
the licensing exam, you can pretty much go anywhere in the country
and work at that point.
(Jimaleen:) And this is a field that's going
to continue to grow. I feel like it's just expanding in so many
different areas, and I'm very proud of that.
