[intro music] >>Marci: Aloha, it's Marci from Cycle City
and welcome to paradise. We’re excited that you’ve chosen to rent from us here at Cycle
City Harley-Davidson; your Authorized rental program for the island of Oahu.
We’re excited that you chosen us to rent your Harley-Davidson motorcycle and take that
rumble through paradise. To get started we are going to go over a few important things
so you can feel comfortable while riding on the road here in beautiful Hawaii. The first
thing that we’ll cover is the motorcycle condition report, and this is to get your
comfortable on the bike that you’ve chosen from our ride variety of Harley-Davidson rental
motorcycles. [b roll] Some new features on our 2014 touring
models, that you should be aware of before you get to the dealership are. The all new
infotainment system with larger buttons, media storage with usb ports, joysticks that operate
all radio functions, eight language selections, full color touch screen options, and navigation.
>>Marci: So now that you have a better understanding of what these new 2014 models have to offer,
don’t’ worry. We will program your destinations for you when you are here at the dealership.
And we will give you another run through of what to expect so you’re totally comfortable
on the bike that you’ve chosen to ride. We’ll program things like your hotel room
and the dealership so you won’t have any worries about knowing where you’re going
or how to find your way back. Some important things to remember while riding
in Hawaii is to stay on the paved roads. There are plenty of places to pull over along your
route so you can capture those moments to take home and brag to your friends. Trust
me; you’ll still get some great footage. So remember, no off roading.
As you’re riding through paradise there are plenty of sights to see, but we want you
to stay focused and remember the road. There are some important road hazards to remember.
Here in Hawaii we have something called red dirt. It does get slippery, so please take
caution when seeing red dirt on the roads. And that also goes for gravel, rocks and those
paved lines that do tend to get slippery. But overall remember to have fun and be aware
of your surroundings. Keep in mind you’re probably going to want to pack some snacks
and maybe a towel while you’re out on the road on your Harley-Davidson rental here in
Hawaii. We offer a variety of touring models that come equipped with saddle bags just for
that purpose. And we also want to remind you that it is never permitted to strap bags on
to any of our motorcycles. Remember, here in Hawaii there is no helmet
law, but us at Cycle City Harley-Davidson always recommend that you wear your lid. And
also, protective eyewear is always required when operating any of our rental motorcycles.
Thank you and Mahalo for choosing Cycle City Harley-Davidson for your motorcycle rental
experience here in Hawaii. If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to ask us.
We’ll go over everything when you’re here in person, but you can send us an email, or
give us a call. And remember you can always visit our website at Cycle City Hawaii dot
com. We are looking forward to seeing you and sharing our beautiful Hawaii Nei.
