Get to Know Kaitlyn Williamson

We recently sat down with Kaitlyn Williamson, accounting sophomore, to learn about her experiences with the Spears School of Business.

Kaitlyn Williamson My name is Kaitlyn Williamson and I am a sophomore at Oklahoma State. IÕm from Bartlesville, Oklahoma. IÕm majoring in accounting and I chose it because I actually had to do a project in high school about what I wanted to do with life so I kind of researched it and ended up taking it my senior year and really liked it and IÕve just liked it so far. IÕm in the honors college and IÕm also involved in the honors society called national society of collegiate scholars. IÕve always wanted to own my own prom dress store or just a little cute clothing boutique. Right now IÕm helping plan Dance Marathon and I really enjoy that. IÕve also helped build a playground fro a YMCA in Tulsa. My future plans are hopefully to find an internship and maybe shadow different accounting firms so I can learn more about the type of accounting I want to do and hopefully find a successful job. I would describe the Spears School as helpful because they are very helpful in helping you find a career and informing you of upcoming jobs and employees with interviews who are going to be on campus.
