DR. LAURA K. COYLE, DMD: Zoom is great and really takes out what we call a patient compliance
portion of whitening your teeth. We all think that we're going to take those trays home
and wear them all the time, but you know, life gets in the way of those trays, and sometimes
we don’t get the results that we want because we're not as good with them. We have other
things to worry about sometimes than whitening our teeth.
The great thing about the Zoom Whitening is that it's all in the office, it takes about
two hours to do it, in a few sessions in and out of the chair. We put the gel on your teeth,
it gives you a really bright smile, it's a very noticeable change. So you come in, you're
here for a little while, we can let you watch a movie while you get your teeth whitened.
And when you leave here about two hours later, your smile is sever shades brighter.
Patients have been very happy with the Zoom Whitening because they do have that instant
gratification. Their friends notice right away, if they go to those business meetings
after they come, patients can definitely see that something's been done, and sometimes
it's just enough that friends don’t realize what's been done. They just notice that something
looks different, that they look brighter or something. Their smile looks different but
they can't quite pinpoint, which is also a great thing too. Because then you want your
friends and everybody to notice that you look great, but maybe they're not quite sure what
it was that you had done.
