Hey guys, Jeff Cavaliere from athleanx.com! Back to you this week with a new twist on
a couple of exercises done on one time. You sort of know that I like the bands training
and with this Athlean Elastics Bands, this tine using the smaller size of the band, you
could do some pretty cool things. But, one concept that is a big part of AthleanX is
something that I like to call like Muscle Fire Fusion, right?
So what I mean by that is that sometimes you can get better results if you coordinate muscles
that usually should fire together or work together. So, the sum of the parts of the
working muscles is gonna equal more than he total.
So, we have a combined effort that's gonna give you more work based upon the individual
muscles groups that are contributing. So, if you're looking at this week's exercise,
we're gonna combine the back and the shoulder together in one movement and I think that'll
have an additive effect that's better that what you can have worth either one of this
exercise on its own. So the reason being is that if you look behind
here, the back and the shoulder don't move independent of each other at all. Doing the
shoulder plate right here, you're gonna have a lot of movement in order to get full elevation
of your shoulder you'll have to have movement of your shoulder blade in your back as you
come up. So, working shoulders and back in the same
exercise is a very natural thing, so what we're gonna do here is combine a fore raise
for your shoulder and a role for your back using these bands.
Basically all you have to do is set this thing up here.
This in the middle, and I have some clumsy dumbbells here so it's a little bit, is not
as easy to set up as these things, but you just grab regular dumbbells, grab your bands.
Now, if we're gonna come up here, we've got top of the front shoulder raise to work on
our shoulders. Well, I'm gonna have you hold it up there the whole time, ground yourself
and then come back and work your back. So, you got yourself up, shoulders, back.
Keep them up the whole time. [exercising]
Now, keep it up here the whole time. My shoulders are on fire. You could do it while you come
down, up and then back. Now you've got a shoulder raise, you even got a pull down effect if
I come down a little bit further like that so now we're working, you know, like a straight
up pull down or, a tricep push down, up and roll. Yu can really integrate all the muscles
on your body into one exercise, just with these bands. So, again, try not to train muscles
in isolation to each, because the fact of the matter is they don't fire on isolation.

effect in the end, and in this case, more lean muscles growth, and you know, burning
