Welcome to the UWS Library video on ‘Introduction to NSW Legislation’.
To go to the Law Subject Guide, first select e-Resources from the Library homepage Resources drop down list.
On the e-Resources page, go to the section on Subject Guides and select ‘Law’.
Once you are in the Law Subject Guide, scroll down the left column to Legislation.
Click on ‘Legislation – New South Wales’. This should take you through to the NSW legislation website.
Select ‘Browse’ to see the alphabetical sequence.
For example, find the Defamation Act 2005 (NSW) No 77 s 6.
Click on the link to Defamation Act 2005 No 77 to view the Act as an HTML page.
This is the name of the Act.
Open this link to see amendments to this Act.
Click on a specific section to view the content.
