I rejoice that we can hear what we've heard today.
This is the avenue for revival.
This pathway we've heard now keeps me from being asleep in Zion -
- blow the trumpet in Zion;
- sound the alarm among My holy people.
Because if the trumpet gives an uncertain sound, who will be stirred up for battle?
This word today has awakened us for conflict.
To give us to see where the real issue lies.
What is it that God is after? It says in Ephesians chapter 1:
"Just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love"
What a goal for our life, to be holy and without blame!
To be before God in love. Driven by love. Compelled by love.
Motivated by love. Oh, how that awakens my need.
It's written in one of the brother's writings – He said: "God, give me love, and I'll ask You for nothing else".
To be motivated in this direction, that I cannot be asleep in Zion.
There is much to do. Why?
Because God wants to be all in all.
He wants to be our full life in example.
How I rejoice that we can hear it.
Let us be motivated from within to see the hope that's in front of us.
It is written in Philippians chapter 3.
I'm stirred in my heart to go forward.
We need this light that awakens us.
In Philippians chapter 3, verse 13:
"Brethren, I do not regard myself as having laid hold of it; but one thing I do -
- forgetting what lies behind and reaching forward to what lies ahead, -
- I press on toward the goal for the prize, this upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
Let as many as are wholehearted, have this attitude of mind."
As many as are perfect have the same attitude, to reach the goal.
Jesus came to the place where He said: I've finished the work.
I want to finish!
There is a time we can come to a finished work.
Where all sin has been condemned.
All that the Spirit has revealed, has been judged.
In order to press toward the mark, I have to stay focused.
There are so many things now that are getting us to be without a focus.
We become so shifting in our thoughts.
But this message we've heard today is to put us on track, for being focused.
Sin in the flesh has to be condemned.
I must be cleansed of all that dwells in my human nature.
Then there's a goal in front of me.
May God awaken us to see the goal, and to press towards the mark.
We want to be finished with sin.
We want to be ready for Jesus.
We want to come to this high calling, which is God's divine nature.
As a result of this goal, I must stay focused that the sin in my flesh is condemned.
That I can do as Jesus did. He finished the work.
God sent His Son into the world to condemn sin in the flesh, and that is our mission.
That's our challenge while we're here. That's our task.
So that we too can rejoice in all tribulations, because the sin is gone.
Oh, what a hope we have! What a joy there is in our hearts.
That this is not an ideology - not a fairytale.
We will arrive if we hear what we've heard today. We will come to that point.
Where Paul said: "I've finished my course", I too am expecting to finish.
I too have got a goal in front of my eyes, and I can not be asleep in Zion.
I'm motivated to be stirred up in my inner man.
As result, revival burns in our hearts.
I want more of this divine life. May God strengthen us in this direction.
