I'm a theatre major, and my future plans are to continue my education at SBCC for a little
while and then work within the community at different theaters and different theatre companies here.
My major is Com, and my future plans are to transfer to a university.
My major is film production and I plan to produce movies in LA.
My major is liberal arts with a focus of education to become a teacher.
Hi, I'm a film major and I'm planning on transferring to a four year college after this.
I came to get my general ed done, and I'm going to major in dental hygiene
and then I'm going to transfer out of here after this year.
SBCC was right for me because I wanted a small college with a great community and I've heard
it was an amazing theatre department and so that's why I chose this.
I chose SBCC because I was already living in Santa Barbara when I wanted to come here, and because it's a beautiful school.
I chose to come to SBCC for the wonderful
location, it's right on the beach and very close to LA, which is perfect for my major, which is film production.
I came here because it's a really beautiful
campus, the people here are really nice and it's really laid back.
I chose SBCC because I heard they had a good Com program, and it's really nice here.
I chose to come to Santa Barbara because I'm
a local. I love Santa Barbara. The weather is beautiful here, the campus is beautiful
here at the college, and I'm trying to save money, and I didn't really have any right
now, so had to come here. And I love it here so it worked out.
What sold me on this campus was basically the view and the atmosphere. It's really chill out here and
there's a lot of places you can go and sit out and have lunch and check out the view.
I think the best place to eat in Santa Barbara is Hollister Brewing Company. It's in Goleta, and it's fun.
The best place to go to for healthy organic food
is the Savvy, in Santa Barbara. It's right next to the Transit Center, so it's really good and healthy.
Between walking, biking and skating, I like to skate.
It's a lot of fun, and they got a cool skatepark down the road.
I prefer to walk around Santa Barbara, the town is so small and so nice, and when you're
walking around it's really easy. Santa Barbara City College is just kind of in a nice place
to walk to too. It's really easy to get to from where we live. I live not too far from
here so I mean it's perfect to walk everywhere in Santa Barbara especially to school.
My favorite professor is Vanessa Woods. She's in the psych department, she's really cool
and she knows a lot. She went to UCSB also. My favorite professor here is Joe White and
he teaches philosophy. I just love how he teaches. He's really enthusiastic and he just
makes it a lot of fun.
My favorite professor is Professor Stinson of Introduction to Film. He cares a lot about what
he does and you can tell he really knows what he's doing.
